When Barack H Obama was working on ending the US invasion of Afghanistan there was this issue of how will the US implement the withdrawal. In fact there was a detailed BBC programme on various strategies to implement the withdrawal. One could feel that in these schemes there was this weakness that Taliban could inflict damage at the tail end of the withdrawal.

That was in 2008.

Eleven years is a long time but the US did figure out the solution to their problem. They negotiated with Taliban!

But in the process 2000 ISIS Mujahideen got into the open and they got a piece of the tail end.

Indian TV Anchor: If you claim to harm none, why are so many Afghans leaving the country?

Suhail Shaheen of Taliban: If the US parks a plane at the Delhi airport allowing common Indians to fly out of India into America, lakhs of Indians will leave within hours.

What a brilliant reply!

This is sadly the reality of all of our "underdeveloped" countries. Everyone is looking for an opportunity to leave for the "greener pastures" of the West. Those who remain behind are the ones who didn't get an opportunity.

Some very good points in this.

They need to be here for the public to see too

Quote:
Our leadership is very modest and simple. They are dedicated to their duty. We declared an amnesty that includes everyone. Ismail Khan, a warlord known as the “Lion of Herat,” we captured him, and we forgave him. Hamid Karzai, the former president who was the biggest puppet of the Americans, he is forgiven. General Dostum, a former warlord, was captured. He had killed our people collectively in Northern Afghanistan. He let them suffocate in sealed containers. We forgive him. Even if we know that someone has killed my brother or my family member, we will not take revenge — he is forgiven.

Quote:
The West seems to be worried about Afghan girls. They wonder if they still be allowed to go to school. Let me explain this issue with an example. In Herat city, there was a girl who was going to school after the Taliban takeover. The schools are open. The girls go to school. She was trying to kiss the gun of a Talib. The scene was filmed and later shared on social media, the clip appears to have been deleted. The Talib asked her, “Why do you want to kiss my gun?” She said, “Because of your guns, there is security. Before, when I went to school, a lot of boys were interrupting me. They were harassing me.” So, I would say the Taliban are giving the best security you want in the world. If the world is not endorsing this, this is dishonesty.

Quote:
Freedom of opinion and media is important for us. It is very much founded in the Islamic philosophy. The second Muslim Caliph Umar (from 634 A.D. who transformed the Islamic state from an Arabian principality into a world power) was asking the best people to express criticism of his regime and his failures. In Afghanistan, freedom of press in the past two decades meant to criticize Taliban for its Islamic values.

A few more points!

Quote:
We witnessed ISIS K attacking the Kabul airport and killing more than hundred people. We condemn this. Daesh is our biggest enemy. We fought them in the past two years with all our force in northern Afghanistan, in Jalalabad and Kunar. We killed a lot of them. As for Al-Qaida, at the moment, there is no Al-Qaida. They are not using our territory anymore. If they decide to use our territory, we will decide what action we take.

Quote:
We fundamentally condemn drones strikes like the ones the U.S. flew against ISIS K, a few days ago. This is our country. We don’t want anyone to use it with drones or whatever. It is not the right of Americans to fight for us. This is our responsibility. If we accept support from America, there will be reason for anyone to jump into Afghanistan.

Quote:
Our big wish and desire is to secure the people of our country. We want self-determination for Afghanistan. And we demand mutual bilateral respect. I don’t want to see the American airplanes flying over our country ever again. America doesn’t allow anyone to interfere on their soil or capture their citizens. We have the same rights not to allow anyone to occupy our country. We don’t want anyone to dictate our holy country.

This soldier of Taliban says they haven’t had a proper meal in 4 days, only small pieces of stale bread

Some Mujahideen were hungry and found dried mulberries that belonged to locals, but the leaders didn’t give them permission to eat them so the locals don’t get upset.

This was the norm even in the first Taliban administration. Waste scraps of stale nan was collected from the towns and delivered to the frontline. Where possible a thin watery soup with just onions and spices was made to eat with the nan. Imagine living and fighting in the mountains with just scraps to sustain you!

This is the difference between the Americans, British, NATO troops and the Afghan army.

They fight for money and the Taliban fight for law and order with no greed of salary. Just the pleasure of Allah!

How can an army win if the opposition is waiting to kill or be killed? It's seen as a success either way!

These type of people seemed to have infiltrated every place on the net with roles of moderators. Twitter,
Instagram, Facebook, Youtube video comments. Any type of vulgarity and profanity against Islam, Muslims including Allah and his Messenger (saw) are allowed in the name of freedom of speech. When it involves other groups accounts are quickly deleted and individuals permanently banned.

To give one example there was an Iranian atheist on twitter using the most extreme forms of vulgarity and profanity against Islam even posting video of himself urinating on Quran.
Zero action taken against him by twitter. Majority of his followers were Hindu extremists. Anyway about a year ago he posted a picture of semi-nude statue of a Hindu Goddess stated he found her attractive. He got hundreds of death threats from his Hindu followers and subsequently got banned permanently for insulting the sensibilities of Hindu.

As far as Afghanistan the Zionists and Hindutva extremist are on every platform engaged in propaganda.

I dont know how to embedd tweets but the following reflects a major hurdle that Taliban needs to overcome.

Posted on twitter by Ali Mustafa.

for twenty years Afghans were repeatedly told Pakistan was their mortal enemy, out to destroy Afghanistan through its proxy the Taliban - those peddling this narrative ran away overnight but the fear and loathing was left behind as the Taliban took control of Afghanistan

On the tweet, select "share" (ICON) and copy that link.

For example, this particular of a female student being awarded a trophy. The tweet would be embeded like this
Quote:
IEA honored a female student who obtained the highest score in the university entrance exam. These sisters are our pride and future. #Afghanistan.

There seems to be a strange pattern here.

Anti-Pakistan and Anti-Taliban protest by a small group of women in Kabul.

Leaders of the So-Called Resistance relentlessly blaming Pakistan.( Amrullah Saleh and Ahmed Massoud.)

America and European union blaming Pakistan for the success of Taliban.

India blaming Pakistan.

Iran has now also issued a condemnation but also gone a step further claiming Pakistan was providing Aerial support to Taliban in Panjshir Valley.

So what is behind whats seems like a co-ordinated anti-Pak anti-Taliban propaganda.

It could be one of the following reasons or perhaps all three or maybe something else entirely.

(1) The Taliban in setting up the government does not have the professionals from Doctors to civil Engineers to Administrators to help govern the country or help rebuild the infrastructure of the country.

Only country were they could get support from government or prospective volunteers to offer help and direction is from Pakistan. So if they put pressure on the Pak government. The Pakistanis may then be reluctant to provide help or allow their citizens to offer support.

(2) During Talibans first rule majority of International Voluntary and Human Relief organisations. Stopped operating in Afghanistan. On top most of these countries led by America and Europe imposed sanctions. And refused to recognise the Taliban Government. Majority of relief work being done in Afghanistan was by Pakistani volunteers and Charities. Foundations and organisations set up by Ulema. Amongst them the AL Rashid of the late Mufti e Azam Rashid Ahmed Ludhianvi.(RA) The Akhtaria trust of Hazrat Shah Hakeem Akhtar sahib (RA) this charitable work was seen as one of the reasons the Taliban regime did not fall or implode. People of Afghanistan were still getting vital services although greatly limited in scope.

... All these Pakistani charities and organisations were labelled as Terrrorist sympathisers after Americas invasion.

So they could also be trying to prevent any charity work being done by Pakistani organisations and individuals in Afghanistan.

(3). It could be as some political commentators opined when America and its allies invaded Afghanistan. Taliban was the decoy the real objective was and has always been the destabilisation of Pakistan. The Western Countries cannot stomach the fact that a Muslim country is a Nuclear Power. Destabilise the country use the excuse that Pakistans nuclear arsenal is in danger of falling in to the hands of Terrorists...
