The Taliban regime fell once previously. The Islamic government in Chechnya fell.. Even the intellectual muslim government of the Ikhwan fell within a year.

Our condition is one of ignorance and ingratitude as an Ummah. So perhaps our situation is unlikely to change until we collectively change.

Leaving aside the sell outs and agents of the west those people who are profiting from crumbs thrown to them by the colonialists.

There are amongst us those who are practising and pious yet taken in by the propaganda and falling over each other to condemn the Mujahadeen. And bemoaning how these bearded shrouded mullahs are giving Islam a bad name. And sending curses upon them. And also acting as apologists and making ambiguos statements because they dont have the confidence to defend the sharia in the face off media propaganda.

Converseley we have amongst us those who are far removed from the deen. Yet are able to see the media lies and are strong in their condemnation of the propaganda. They are trying their best to defend the dictates of deen despite their lack of knowledge. Refusing to act as apologists openly and unapologetocally calling a sin a sin, even though they themselves maybe immersed in that particular sin.

As far as the developing countries go, many of the people in those countries maybe practicing and sincere. But have very little knowledge especially in the rural areas. No point telling them about establishing the system of governance of Amir Ul Mumineen Umar Al Farooq (RA) when they have no idea what that system was or received any education concerning it.

There way of analysing things is very simplistic all they know is that life was easier during one regime and is harder under the other regime. The price of goods and basic necessities was cheaper during one regime but more expensive during the other. One regime built schools and clinics and roads and provided access to water and electricity whilst the other regime is seemingly doing nothing.

They dont understand things such as economic sanctions. Or political machinations of the colonialists. Who fund and feed their puppets and boycott and starve their opponents. That greater blessings as we have seen in the history of our ummah are only fully yielded when people stand firm and remain patient when tested. The example of these people I heard a scholar once mention is like that of a small child who willingly hands over a bag of gold coins in exchange for a sweet not understanding the value of what he had within his reach.

As far as the Taliban goes I wonder how many people even within their own ranks, are standing with them for strong religious and ideological convictions. How many are there for the ride and will switch loyalties when they see their opponents having an upper hand. And how many of the ordinary people in rural areas who are presently supporting them will turn against them when they fail to see their everyday lives immediately improving.

Point is if the public at large start opposing and fail to recognise the opportunity that has been handed to them that opportunity can by the Wisdom and Justice of ALLAH be removed as easily as it had emerged.

Everyone is talking about women's rights in Afghanistan, forgetting that they are a nation who have been at war since the 19th Century with the British Empire and many conquerors before that. History will take you back to 500B.C., 329 B.C.

A nation that has just about gained real freedom is being asked about womens rights!

Why not look at history and see how "Civilized and Developed" 1st world nations were at war with their women folk in the late 19th and 20th century!

Why not look at womens rights in America in the 60's and 70's. Why not look at women's rights in England in the 60' and 70's!

The Taliban have only been able to provide their women security and stability in their short time in power. Women got their respect back, they got thier rights back - God given rights!

So next time we are asked about womens rights, remind people of the God given rights they have been given - the same rights that Western women are coming to Islam for, in their millions!

Intelectual women are not looking for rights to marry the same gender and they are not looking for the right to walk naked in the streets, they are not looking for rights to become men and so on. They are looking for Peace and Tranquility, a system that will give them the most fair ruling ever. They are looking for a system that offers them protection with the Mind, Body and Soul. Something the Western world cannot really offer except for deluded misconceptions.

In this video taliban fighters are penalised for using their weapon outside of a battle (aerial firing).

The reason why Taliban had such massive support in areas which were neglected by the corrupt government. Instead Taliban would deliver swift justice in these courts.

Alhamdolillah a good thing following sharia.

But it does not look good for the group, on camera and on agreements they have promised many things but have now gone against them, is this permissable?

The issues seem to be in main cities only, this was expected given liberal outlook of the populations in cities but they really need to show more tolerance if they are gonna rule properly. The future at the moment looks bleak for the people.

Another thing pointed out is that the taliban are a loose collection of people, some are ok and some are here for the ride and are not educated religiously/secular. Many Talibs are settling scores with old governors/police/army people who were involved in killing their family members.

Why is Iran so upset over Taliban cabinet and takeover of Panjshir Valley?

Iran seems upset after the Taliban announced their interim cabinet preceded by the insurgent group’s military takeover of the Panjshir valley, the last anti-Taliban front in Afghanistan. Simultaneously, Tehran has also accused Pakistan of “interfering” in the Panjshir valley by allegedly helping the Taliban with drone strikes.

Why has Iran, which forged a tactical working relationship with the Taliban over the last few years, suddenly changed its tone? What are the Iranian concerns regarding recent developments in Afghanistan and what does it mean for Taliban-Iran future ties?

Following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan on August 15, Iran adopted a neutral line, while hoping for an inclusive and broad-based government. However, the Taliban’s announcement of their 33-member interim cabinet, accommodating its old guard, while giving no representation to women or the Shia community, angered Iran.

On September 8, during a virtual meeting of Afghanistan’s neighbors, including Iran, China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan, Tehran’s top diplomat Hossein Amirabdollahian said, “Experience has shown that a non-inclusive government does nothing to help stability, peace and progress in Afghanistan. So, our expectation from the foreign ministers is to announce the necessity for the formation of an inclusive government with a unified voice.” Likewise, Iran’s security chief Ali Shamkhani, in his Twitter message, expressed concern over “ignoring the need for inclusive government, foreign intervention, and the use of military” instead of negotiations to settle differences.

During the last few years, Iran and the Taliban developed a narrow convergence of interest, despite being sectarian rivals, against the US and Daesh’s presence in Afghanistan. Iran allowed the Taliban to open an office known as the Mashhad Shura and operate training centers in Kerman, Zahedan and Tehran. However, the Iran-Taliban short-lived honeymoon ended with the US withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Taliban’s rise to power. It is essential to mention that in 1998 Iran and the Taliban almost went to war following the killing of nine Iranian diplomats at its Mazar-i-Sharif consulate in Afghanistan.

Iran is upset about the absence of the Hazara Shia community in the Taliban’s interim cabinet and the sidelining of the pro-Iran Taliban commanders Qayum Zakir, Sadr Ibrahim and Daud Muzamil. Iran believes Pakistan has used its influence over the Taliban to sideline the pro-Iran Taliban commanders. Tehran has interpreted these moves as Pakistan’s efforts to marginalize Iran in post-US Afghanistan.

For instance, the Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said, “Afghanistan’s history shows that foreign intervention both direct and indirect, has resulted in nothing but defeat for the aggressor force, and the Afghan people are independence-seeking and zealous, and certainly any intervention is doomed.”

During the US-Taliban negotiations, Qatar played a central role as the host venue of the Taliban’s political office. Iran and Qatar have close diplomatic ties. Tehran’s proximity with the Taliban and Qatar prompted it to believe that it could keep its Middle Eastern rivals out of post-US Afghanistan.

In recent years, Iran worked with the Taliban and Islamabad to carve out greater space for itself in Afghanistan. Likewise, the signing of the China-Iran deal brought Islamabad and Tehran under Beijing’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) framework. This further shaped Iran’s strategic calculus that it would succeed in advancing its sectarian interests in Afghanistan.

However, recent calls of the Saudi and UAE crown princes to the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Afghanistan have alienated Iran. Domestically, Iran is also under tremendous public and media pressure for engaging with the Taliban or maintaining neutrality despite the exclusion of the Hazara Shia community. Hence, the hard-hitting Iranian statements criticizing the Taliban and Pakistan are also for domestic consumption.

Despite these tensions, Taliban-Iran ties are nowhere near the rupture point. Iranian cooperation with the Taliban regime in Afghanistan will continue, despite the loud and shrill political rhetoric. At the same time, Tehran would do well to do some soul searching for its meddling in Syria, Iraq and Yemen before pointing false accusatory fingers at Islamabad for interfering in Afghanistan.

Iran's accusations make no sense. Pakistan's Shia lobby is much more powerful than any other Muslim country's with them occupying several important influential positions in the government and the military. If anyone would want Shia representation in the Afghan government it would be them. Truth is, the Shias have no place in a government formed under a true, or closest to the true Shariah. Sooner or later they will betray the government. The kuffar and mushrik are natural allies of the Shias, no friendship can be expected between them and the Muslims.
