Shaykh Abdul Qadir Sufi passed away on August 1, 2021 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Shaykh was born Ian Dallas in 1930 in Scotland, and converted to Islam in 1967 in Fez, Morocco. In fiqh, he followed the Maliki school of jurisprudence. He was also a shaykh in the Dharqawi-Shadhili tariqa,
He was the founder of the Murabitun World Movement.
