Shaykh Saqqaf bin Muhammad al Jifri passed away on August 3, 2021. He was an Indonesian scholar who belonged to the clan of the ba'Alawi saadaat of Hadhramaut. He was a graduate of Al Azhar University, Cairo. He was head of Al Khayrat, the largest Islamic community organization of Eastern Indonesia. He was also a past chairman of the Indonesian Ulama Council of Sulawesi.
May Allah Taala forgive him and elevate his ranks in paradise.
