This is such a heart-breaking post (above). May Allah SWT make it easy for those of us who are undergoing hardships, and have Mercy on all of us.

Mostly savings and also went on universal credit. Alhamdulilah i have not rent or mortgage which helps. Unfortunately the downside to contracting is you don't get as much job security as being permanent. InshAllah my current role can last a yr or 2 which will set me up nicely. I'm looking to get into property development.

When we see what Allah had in store for us, for all the trials and tribulations, I bet we'd wished for more trials in the Dunya.

We need to be strong and have full faith and determination to get through this.

The harder it gets, the better it will be for the believers.

Sometimes we feel we can't tell our loved ones because it will hurt them forever, so we think we should just end our life because we can't take it anymore.

But the ones we don't want to hurt are the ones who will be hurt the most when we take the wrong actions.

If I'm depressed sitting at home, locked up, got no one to talk to about my depression because if I do, it'll hurt them too much. I have to remind myself that if I do the wrong thing, I will be inflicting more pain onto my loved ones than I would've if I told them and who knows, if I take the wrong step, they could end up causing harm to themselves too.

The knock-on effect can be terrible. So be strong and have faith. Seek patience.

ONE EVENING, AN ELDERLY
CHEROKEE BRAVE TOLD HIS
GRANDSON ABOUT A BATTLE THAT
GOES ON INSIDE PEOPLE.

HE SAID "MY SON, THE BATTLE IS
BETWEEN TWO 'WOLVES' INSIDE US ALL.
ONE IS EVIL. IT IS ANGER,
ENVY, JEALOUSY, SORROW,
REGRET, GREED, ARROGANCE,
SELF-PITY, GUILT, RESENTMENT,
INFERIORITY, LIES, FALSE PRIDE,
SUPERIORITY, AND EGO.

THE OTHER IS GOOD.
IT IS JOY, PEACE LOVE, HOPE SERENITY,
HUMILITY, KINDNESS, BENEVOLENCE,
EMPATHY, GENEROSITY,
TRUTH, COMPASSION AND FAITH."

THE GRANDSON THOUGH ABOUT
IT FOR A MINUTE AND THEN ASKED
HIS GRANDFATHER:

"WHICH WOLF WINS?..."

THE OLD CHEROKEE SIMPLY REPLIED,
"THE ONE THAT YOU FEED"

“Hardships continue to befall a believing man and woman in their body, family, and property, until they meet Allah burdened with no sins” (At-Tirmidhi)

“Indeed amazing are the affairs of a believer! They are all for his benefit. If he is granted ease of living he is thankful; and this is best for him. And if he is afflicted with a hardship, he perseveres; and this is best or him.” (Muslim)

And Allah said,

Certainly, We shall test you with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits; but give glad tidings to the patient—those who, when afflicted with calamity say, “Truly to Allah we belong, and truly to Him shall we return.” It is those who will be awarded blessings and mercy from their Lord; and it is those who are the guided ones.
(Al-Baqarah 2:155–157)

Anyone considered using the excuse of being tested positive or to show symptoms of being positive just so that you can lock yourself up in a room for 2 weeks? Get a bit of piece of mind.

Then come out of the shelter for a few days and go back in, it could just help those who need space.

Just a thought :)

I've been doing home tests for those who think they need it, (I haven't tested myself yet, I'm taking precautions and trusting Allah)

I don't know how it is in other countries, but in the UK, such tests are available, although not so easy for the majority of people. But Alhumdulillah, I've got test kits to last me a few months, in fact may be even a year.

I've tested people or for them to test themselves when they felt unwell, even those who have no symptoms. The results (although not 100% accurate) it gives them an indication on how to handle things.

Some have isolated themselves. Some have tested postive but show no symptoms. Some have tested negative.

But one thing I realised was how simple it was to not have a clue of the outcome.

But then how those results can be used in their benefit is something to think about.
