Just to reiterate the highlighted bits :)
6/7 months later and so many people are still furious about what happened and will continue to happen.
I was doing Qurbani deliveries to family and was listening to the radio talk show.
One caller who works as a social worker called up and gave her account of what's happening to her.
1: Tested positively for covid earlier in the year
2: Installed the NHS test and trace app
3: Double vaccinated by now
4: Tested negative 4 times in one go using lateral flow tests.
5: Decided to do the actual PCR test
6: Decided to do 2 more lateral flow tests and both negative again whilst waiting for her official results
7: Results came back POSITIVE
8: Now having to self isolate for 10 days and unable to work and (no pay I think)
9: Angry with lateral flow tests
10: Angry with the App
11: Deleted the App
12: Will complete the self isolation
13: Will carry on with life and no more tests
14: Will just be cautious as of now
People are waking up and soon they will be angry!
;)
So, getting vaccinated "might have" reduced the symptoms or the placebo effect just tells them they're fine and they carry on only to get baffled again and again.
