I like taking photos :)

Some photos are amazing and they require very basic skills.

This thread has actually been inspired by a member who won't get a mention yet. But all credit goes to that member.

I'm hoping this thread will be educational and (excuse the pun) have great exposure:)

I have taken some great photos in my days, but with the possession of mobile phones, it seems anyone can take photos just as well.

I wanted to post some photos like those that I had once taken, so these are not mine. They are only for illustration purposes and educational purposes.

First types of Photography Tips - Horizons and Sunsets
Professional tips can be sourced here for getting the perfect straight horizon

Second type of tips will probably be based on taking photos facing the sun and then we will progress on taking photos of the Moon.

I am hoping Wifaqul Ulama can provide some tips on taking such photos since they've produced some amazing images of the new crescent moon.

Horizon Photos and where to place your Camera.
Place the camera on the ground to get the horizn at feet level

Place the camera at knee level to get horizon slightly higher than the feet

Place the camera at chest level to get the horizon at chest level

Place the camera at neck level to get the horizon at neck level

Question 1: Where would you place the camera if you wanted the horizon at eye level?
Question 2: Where would you place the camera if you wanted the horizon above head level?
Question 3: TBC

Very simple to work out the answer for the above.

Question 1: Where would you place the camera if you wanted the horizon at eye level? Place camera at eye level.
Question 2: Where would you place the camera if you wanted the horizon above head level? Place camera above head level.

Question 3: If a camera is placed at chest height and a picture is taken of someone, where will the horizon be behind that person?

The Camera is placed at chest height just like it is here. An amazing photograph. We know that the astronauts had their cameras attached at chest height.

Best example I could find with a known chest height camera and horizon

Question 4: This will be a trick question so please be patient

Question 4a:
How can you take a photo of someone of the same height, from chest height and close distance, yet have the horizon at eye level?

Question 4b: Is that even possible?

Question 5: Another tricky question coming soon.

Anyone wish to attempt to answer Question 4?

Because Question 5 is worse to answer than a riddle (for me to answer in the least)

Possible answers to Q4&5: Can't be possible, Fake it, Photoshop it, Edit or very easily done!

I'll share a photo to prove that the questions asked in Q4 has been done.

Once I share the photo, I welcome anyone to dispute it as per the response together with the 5th Question.

You see, the thing is that most people won't take time out to see evidence provided, and I can understand that because sometimes it's just too long and requires so much time.

What I've attempted to do is break it down in simple terms and keep it off track from the main topic at hand. This way, the posts are read (I hope, the thread is appreciated (at least by one for now :)) and it's possible that that appreciation will be taken away)

Also, it's a psychological thing too. If they see a thread / post by Super-Glue, it'll go unread and ignored and the lies sold - remain as truth!

This was my second attempt on a click bait thread (apologies) but some things have to be done. The first was excellent in my opinion, many took part and had to accept the unacceptable and unbelievable lies. I hope this attempt also raises questions and doubts, especially for those who cannot accept that NASA would fake something.

(THE IMAGES OF THE MOON ARE NOT FROM FAKE SOURCES, THEY ARE DIRECT FROM NASA'S WEBSITE - [check the url])

THE IMAGES BEING FAKED, WELL THAT'S A DIFFERENT STORY!

I did say "possible"

If you saw where the thread was heading and accept that the images prove an impossibility, then that's excellent. But your response is appreciated :)

If you thought that I was giving good tips, then by all means, I can! In fact, I can share some amazing photos taken by my daughter. Real photos and edited photos.

In fact, she's very good at editing and she even has people sending her photos and asking her to add or remove people or objects and so on. Excellent work. Very time consuming on some of them.

I can continue to give examples of how sunlight lights up an entire area instead of just sections or spots of areas.

Or, you could watch the video a bit more and see how spot lights are used and how to differentiate between real sunshine / sunlight and spotlights. And how shadows should appear.

And much more.
