Satan prevents a person from (1) coming to Islam from kufr. If the person overcomes him, then satan pushes him (2) from sunnah to bidah. If the person overcomes him again, satan pushes the person towards (3) kabeerah sins. If a person overcomes the kabeerah sins, satan pushes him to (4) view the shortcomings of others. If the person turns away from this, satan pushes him to (5) view his own kamalat (achievements). If a person overcomes this, Satan (6) pulls him from engaging in more beneficial work and makes him engage in less beneficial work.
