I think that the Mosques in Leicester are also still closed due to local lockdown and will probably stay closed for the next few weeks.

I feel the that the mosques will still be fairly empty or will get emptier unfortunately.

As brother xs11ax has mentioned, track and trace will deter people.

When entering the mosque, names and numbers in the least will be noted.

So, if one person is infected and attended the same mosque, all those who attended around the same time will be tagged, tracked and traced and told to quarantine for 14 days, affecting the household too.

This would mean, those who are at work now, will have to be off work for 2 weeks with sick pay. That's not good news for many.

From what I saw, the mosque I went to for Dhohar Salah was filled with elderly people. I was probably the youngest one there :(

This particular mosque will be open for Jummah as it is for every other Salah and no booking is required. The mosque is fairly large, so they can cope with the people InshaAllah.

They will see how it goes and take action accordingly.

SubhanAllah, I did mention that a particular mosque does not require registration. But today after Asr, they made an announcement that registration will be required.

So just double check with your mosque just in case they have updated their procedures.
