The death rates are much lower than advertised

Where is the evidence that the death rates are lower?

What we know is that the death rate is 9%

Maybe, just maybe, the overreactions to this pandemic is due to the fact that Man doesn't know everything, he doesn't know how the situation will progress, and he is very vulnerable to something as small as the corona virus. Perhaps the reasons for new approaches to prevent the spread of the virus is due to new information and advancements in understanding how viruses spread etc. Perhaps in a few years we may develop new understandings that prove we were wrong in some aspects of dealing with this virus.

So nobody qualified or experienced to issue an opinion on the matter. As far as Taqwa is concerned I wouldn't recommend Abu Muhammad to get his root canal done by a "Mutaqi", I would suggest him to to go a Dentist.

Really?

No idea about "your Aslaaf" but my Salaf were the Sahabah (RA) of Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and they adopted Social distancing in the Plague of Emwaas as documented by Ibn Katheer (RA):

Distancing was enforced by Sayyiduna Amr Ibn Al-‘Aas (RA), when he took over as the commander-in-chief of Muslim forces in Syria. He publicly addressed the people, “O People, this (plague) is like wild fire so go to the mountains to safeguard yourself.” He then acted and so did the people, and everyone spread far and wide and placed (physical) distance between themselves.

Policy of distancing was enforced by moving the entire military garrison further away from the population and into the hills. When Caliph Sayyiduna Umar (RA) heard about these measures (after the plague was countered), he did not object.

And why does it bother you? And who cares...

A certain Mufti in South Africa has issues 3 Fatwaas on me, yesterday he called Maulana Saleem Dhorat Saheb (HA) a Shaytaan so should it bother me that he has issues 3 Fatwaas on me? :P

I dont think an actual person writes all that. It's just a random text generator that they have set up.

Some Ulama are saying it without knowledge. We are meant to follow the body of Ulama as per the Hadeeth of Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam)

  1. Is Darul-uloom Deoband saying that Isolation is Fitnah?
  2. Is Darul-uloom Dhabail saying that Isolation is Fitnah?
  3. Is Darul-uloom Karachi saying that Isolation is Fitnah?
  4. Is Darul-uloom Khairul-Madaris saying that Isolation is Fitnah?
  5. Is Jamiatur-Rasheed saying that Isolation is Fitnah?
  6. Is Rabita Alamal-Islami saying that Isolation is Fitnah?
  7. Which global body of Muslim Scholars of which sect is saying that Isolation is Fitnah???

The issue is people making Taqleed of "1-2 Ulama" over the body of Islamic Scholarship, these are called "individual opinions of the Ulama" and they are welcome to them.

Alhumdolillah, Ulama are united in the matter that precautions need to be taken as per the Sahaba (RA) which I quoted above.

In Britain, it is mandated by Government to not pray Salah in congregation when the Government restrictions are lifted we will go back to Masajid (as we used to), no organisation has banned Mosques and cannot ban worship in Mosques.

Let's say it's a Jewish conspiracy. Can the Jews bring something into effect if Allah does not allow it? The more important issue here is why did Allah allow it to affect us? Is it perhaps a wake-up call for all of us? Is it perhaps because we are not obeying Him the way we are supposed to?

How would you answer this?
Quote:

This is someone's opinion and in a Democracy everyone has the right to have an opinion.

If this was an Islamic position then we will look into it from the Qu'raan and the Sunnah but otherwise it is just an opinion.

Why argue and debate over the current situation. All we can do is use our own intelligence and make wise choices. We don’t need fatwas and governments to tell us how to live our lives. Yes they can advise us but the choice is still ours. Hence humans were created not as the devils or angels. We were created as human with free will.

Some people have isolated some have not bothered. Each to their own.

We are all free to express our own opinion. Best to agree to disagree no point trying to force each other’s opinions on each other.

Although I did find it a bit strange that the latest so called cure for the virus has been produced by Israel. The whole world with all it’s sophisticated technology and science labs in various countries weren’t able to find a reliable cure except Israel.

Dajjal or no dajjal as one of the members have already mentioned nothing happens without the permission of Allah. No one but Allah knows the truth other than that it’s all Guess work, conspiracies and heresay. Don’t feed into it.
