An Ameer in Islam is responsible.

Loading Qur'aan Verse

Loading Hadeeth

Now, Indian Muslims want to disregard Qur'aan and Sunnah and go with Indian law to protect Maulana Saad (HA).

How can an Ameer not be responsible for actions of a Jamaat? What is the point of being an Ameer, then?

It is because Jamiatul-Ulama (Hind) does the same thing, for years Uncle-Nephew fought each other in courts and somehow common Indians are responsible for the feud!

Maulana Saad (HA) may not be responsible for culpable homicide (legally) but he is Islamically responsible for actions of Tableeghi Jamaat as per Qur'aan and Sunnah.

We do not believe there was a takeover. We do not think the split and its consequences was a good thing. That was very very unfortunate. We do not believe the accusations against Maulana Saad DB or against anyone else.

We believe there is a misunderstanding between the akabir of tabligh. We maintain husn e zann for all the akabir of tabligh, those in Markaz and those in the Shura, those in Raiwind and those in Kakrail, those in Europe and those in America, those in Africa and those in the Middle East, and those in South East Asia.

The good thing about having husn e zann about someone is that we do not need any proof to have husn e zann.

We respect everyone who disagrees with all of the above, because they have compelling evidence for the stand they've taken. We have no such compelling evidence and we have been advised not to seek out anything which does not concern us directly by our ulama.

We leave the heavy lifting to the heavy lifters. We as laymen aren't even responsible for dawah. We're only responsible for our dependents in both religious and worldly matters.

Those who show excessive zeal in the effort will likely be rewarded for all the good that comes about as a result and will likely be forgiven all the excesses, or may be suitably cleansed of the effects of their excesses either in this world or the next.

EDIT (02/17/2021): According to this fatwa by Darul Uloom Deoband:
https://darulifta-deoband.com/home/en/dawah-tableeg/4278
We as laymen are responsible for dawah to the best of our abilities.

What was there then? What do you believe there was? What would you call it?

If you genuinely believe in this:

We leave the heavy lifting to the heavy lifters.

Then you are in no position to make statements like this:

We do not believe there was a takeover.

You can say "I don't know the facts" so I leave it to others.

If you stand by your statement then we will argue with you because it is blatantly FALSE! Ulama (you may disagree with them but you have to respect them) were PHYSICALLY AND FORCIBLY removed from Nizamuddeen Markaz and we can prove it.

Colonel sahab has given me excellent advice, so I will say that I don't know the facts and I will leave the heavy lifting to others.

I do not have the words to express my gratitude to brother Muadh, because he has given me the invaluable mantra above that I can live my life by. This is now going to be my answer in every debate I might find myself in, going forward.

This might just be the most valuable thing I've learnt from him in the last 8 years, since I started interacting with him online.

Jazakallah khaira wa ahsanal jaza, Muadh Bhai.

All the senior elders of tablighi jamaat who have been involved in tabligh for over 50-60 years
are on 1 side and Moulana Saad is on the other. From India,Moulana Ebrahim Devla Sb,Moulana Ahmad Laat Sb,
Moulana Yaqoub Sb,(who was the teacher of Moulana Saads kids,Moulana Saad himself, and Moulana Saads father!)
Bhai Farooq Sb,Moulana Abdur Rahman(Mumbai)and many others.

From Raiwand,Moulana Ehsanul Haq Sb(Khalifa of Moulana
Zakariya RA)Moulana Abdur Rahman Sb,Moulana Nazur Rahman Sb,Moulana Tariq Jameel Sb Moulana Kursheed Sb,Moulana Faheem Sb,and every other elder in Raiwand.

And in Bangaladesh, majority of the elders are on the shura side.We already know what happened when Moulana Saad went to
Bangaladesh in 2018.Yes, he does have many supporters in Bangaladesh but majority of the elders over their oppose him.

Majority of the elders mentioned above have been involved in the work of Tabligh for 50 plus years, and have benefited from the company of Moulana Yusuf Sb RA.They are both senior then Moulana Saad in age and experience.

Also, majority of the the Ulama outside of Tablighi Jamaat support the Shura. The Ulama from Deoband,Mazahire Uloom, and majority of the other big institutes in India. The majority of the ulama from Pakistan also support the shura. In fact Pakistan is
probably the only country in the world that is 100% on the shura side!

Other countries as we already know all have been split into 2 groups,India,Bangaladesh,England,US,South Africa, etc.

Anyways, even after knowing all of this how can one support Moulana Saad, going against elders who have been involved in the
work of tabligh for 50-60 years?Going against majority of the Akaabir??

Either the person is truly ignorant or ignores the facts.

Well,know you know.Better keep in
touch with the elders in the future,
or you'll be misguided just like the
others.

The elders have said whoever goes
against the mashwara will be misguided.

Then you are a Muqallid and Taqleed must be done of the credible Institutions of Muslims of India and not 1-2 Ulama. You cannot abandon the Taqleed of DU Deoband, DU Saharanpur, DU Dhabail and if you do so you will fall into misguidance.

We do not believe that Strawberries are Haram despite having huge respect and dignity for Mufti Zarwali Khan Saheb (HA) and we make Taqleed of the established Institutions of Islam.

Please post fatawa of DU Deoband, Saharanpur, and Dhabel as I am genuinely ignorant of what these institutions have published.

EDIT (02/17/2021): Maulana Sajjad Nomani DB is not a mere individual alim. He is a spokesperson for the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. When he answers queries, it is not in a personal capacity, but he relates the unanimous verdicts of akabir ulama of India.
