المھدي منا أھل البیت (The Mahdi is one of us, from the ahlul bayt). It means that Hazrat Mahdi RA will be from the progeny of Rasulullah ﷺ, meaning from the descendants of Fatima RA and the general ruling of ahlul bayt will apply on him as well like zakaat will be forbidden on him to accept.
یصلحه الله فی لیلة means that Allah ta’ala will grant him all worldly and deeni authorities in a single night like amarat and khilafat on which unanimity will be achieved. For example, from amongst the worldy affairs he will be granted domination over his enemies in a single night and from amongst the deeni affairs in a single night Allah ta'ala through His grace and help will grant him inspiration about the reality and regarding his own status concerning which he was oblivious before.
Hazrat Maulana Badr Alam Meerthi Muhajir Madani RA states that: One profound reality becomes resolved by this which is that some people who have weak Iman might raise the question that when Hazrat Mahdi is so well known apparently then how can his introduction remain concealed from the common and special people? Therefore in times of adversities and calamities, waiting for his appearance does not seem to be reasonable. However this word (یصلحه الله فی لیلة) has resolved this matter that no matter how many people have these qualities, regardless their latent possessions and spirituality will be kept hidden by the will of Allah to the point that the time for his appearance will come, then within a single night his hidden qualities will become apparent. Hence that too will be a miracle that before his appearance as Mahdi, no one would be able to recognize him and when the time will come, then in a single night the divine power of Allah will create all the abilities in him after which him being Mahdi will become manifest over himself and the entire world.
