Everyday it has become a routine now. And the bad results are visible on ground. Members suggest the cure to this.

Jamiatul Ulema Hind had approached Supreme Court to give a gag order. But SC didn't even listen, it postponed the hearing for 2 weeks. But hearing for Ar.nab.go.swami of Repub.lic T.V was done within hours and favorable judgement was also given by SC.

It is pertinent to note that mainstream media has been shaping public opinion using misleading reports and misinformation since Nizamuddin Markaz was identified as a hotspot. Earlier, Republic Bharat aired a broadcast claiming that a Markaz attendee from Madhya Pradesh hid his travel history from local authorities and subsequently died of Covid-19. The man, however, is alive and did not conceal his visit to Nizamuddin. India TV blamed a maulana for teaching Jamaatis ‘how to spit’ to spread the virus. The channel had picked up a three-year-old video to make the assertion and later took down its broadcast after our fact-check report was published. Kannada channel Public TV published a false report of Muslim youths in Karnataka refusing to get tested for religious reasons. The list is endless.

It is one thing for misinformation to circulate on social media but the same does irrepressible damage when promoted by mainstream media.

Many of us don't even have a TV and they won't watch online TV. The damage is done through brain washing the innocent minds from the majority community.

If we setup our own Channel, from majority community who will watch our channel. Many secular and impartial, unbiased channels don't have business.

I don't think that would be wise. Media has been the domain of kuffar for a long, long time. To beat them at their own game would be extremely difficult. Could do more damage than benefit.
