A Barelwi teacher of mine, Professor SMA Hashim Rizvi, told me at two separate occasions about two different authors about two different writers, Rafiq Zakaria and Ziauddin Sardar, that if you have read them then it is alright but in case you had not then you did not miss much. I asked his wife about his views on late Mushir Hassan then she told that he used to think of Mushir sahab as a bluff master.

I consider myself lucky that I can skip so many books by such authors!
