Listen to it. It also has subtitles to understand the meaning.

I find some types of music to be soothing as well.
Please understand, I'm not talking gangster rap or rock and roll.

I understand that. But you'll have to leave it for the sake of Allah ta'ala.

The instruments! The sounds it creates is his voice (in the sense of the Hadith)

Ok, I can say I like this one. It sounds beautiful as do others, but I can also understand it.
I can listen to music in other languages and can enjoy them, but (to me) they lack depth because I can't understand it.

Okay, maybe I need that Hadith to help me better understand what is permissible.
I have been looking for new forms of music to listen to. I guess those are called Nasheeds.

Nah, Quran is far far better.

I've got an mp3 CD in the car, I've heard the Quran in complete, countless number of times.

Soothing, nourishing, heartwarming, , medicinal use, rewarding and I can fill the thread with so much more

This is what is so confusing to me. On one hand you seem to say the instruments (in that particular video) are ok.

When I look up Nasheed, I read it is lyrics and drum (daf).

Then I'm told absolutely no instruments.

I believe I've mentioned this (to you)

The duf is permitted but not rhythmic.

You will need to understand that as a Muslim you will be tested in ways you were not used to before. You will have to go against your desires ALOT of times and you will have to leave SEVERAL things you love for the sake of Allah. Jannah is not cheap so you'll have to choose whether you put Allah ta'ala first or your desires.

Allah ta'ala says:

"Or you think that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty, ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who had faith with him said, 'When will the Help of Allah come?' Yes! Indeed Allah's help is close!" [Al-Qur'an 2:214]

I have to admit, I find the answers absolutely baffling.
You say singing and duf (not rhythmically) are ok.

Sister sends me a link that, when following the cited source, says:
Music is haraam. Interpreters of the Qur`aan have defined the term `lahwal hadith` which is mentioned in the Qur`aan as:

Singing and listening to songs.
Purchasing of male and female singers.
Purchase of instruments of fun and amusement.
`There will be people of my Ummah who will seek to make lawful; fornication, wine-drinking and the use of ma`aazif ( musical instruments ).` Bukhari"
(emphasis added)

Nasheeds are praises of the Prophet (saw) of Allah, of the greatness he given us, etc etc. Not stuff about love, emotion, hate, crime, past, future, and whatever else people sing about

Ok, that is perfectly understandable, and it IS a form of music (when sung).
