If it's not broken why fix it?

Can Islam be reformed and updated to suit others?

Does Islam need changing?

If Christianity and Judaism was changed, why can't we change Islam?

Islam is error free, there are no bugs, no glitches. The book of rules is untouchable. So if its not broken, why bother.

I agree 100%.

The only things which are "broken" are the public's perception of Islam and some followers of Islam who pick and choose verses of the Surrah to support misguided ideas. The Surrah needs to be contemplated as an entire message.

I wonder, does anyone have a realistic idea of how bad the free world's perception of Islam is?

This thought came to me tonight.
If someone were to step onto a crowded street and yell Allahu Akbar!
Is there any doubt that people would dive for cover or run inside a building?

This is the state of the current perception of Islam. No one will pause to see what's next, most will not even realize it's a praise to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. They will run and hide. In fact, I'll even admit, that I too would seek cover.

This is the bane of terrorism and why so many non-believers (especially in the US) think that terrorism represents Islam.
