(saw) is not used for Allah ta'ala. It is used for the Prophet and it means peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

You may have noticed that I've used "ta'ala" (تعالیٰ in Arabic) after the name of Allah. It means the most high. We can also say "subhanahu wa ta'ala" (سبحانه وتعالى in Arabic) for Allah and it means the most glorified and the most high.

I'm not sure. I was referring to the (s a w) that abu mohammed mentioned.

Quote:
In addition to this, exclusively for Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) we can use (saw) as a code which is ṣallāllāhu ʿalayhī wa-sallam which will produce (saw)

or is it the s.a.w. (s. a. w.) that can be used for the Prophet Muhammed(Pbuh)

test s..a.w.

Subhanahu wata'ala is for Allah.

Sallalahu alaihiwasalam is for prophets and more usually specifically for prophet Muhammad (saw).

Alaihisalaam is usually used for other prophets.

If you are referring to the codes then try using them without spaces.

So after the Prophet Mohammed, either (Pbuh) or (s.a.w.) or (saw) would be correct.
After Allah, سبحانه وتعالى or ta'ala is correct.

Also, thank you Sister, I had missed your earlier english translation.

After Prophet Muhammad, we can use PBUH, (saw) or (s.a.w.)

There is no difference between (saw) and (s.a.w.). The same phrase is written in different styles.

After the name of Allah, we can use ta'ala (تعالیٰ) or subhanahu wa ta'ala (سبحانه و تعالى)

The phrases after the names of the Prophets are small prayers of blessings. Known as durood or salatun nabi. There are a lot of virtues connected to conveying these blessings. There are other longer duroods that people recite which are usually recited as stand alone prayers of blessings.

The phrases after the name of Allah are small phrases of praise. There are other common ones as well.

Sorry, I had limited connectivity.

Anyways, as pointed out (saw) i.e. The word saw in lower case inside the bracket gives (saw)

I know you might be wondering how to show it as an example (saw) that is achieved by doing this

(sa*use one of the other codes like bold or italics*w) so in other words, I put a code in between the letters.

Hope that helps for future use too. :)

Allah ta’ala’s name should always be taken with respect and reverance. Whenever we take the name of Allah, we should always add “تبارك وتعالى” or “تعالی” or “رب العزت” or “جل جلاله و عم نواله” both in writing and speaking.
