Personally, I find this funny on a few different levels. During my "Sunday School" days and even beyond that, while I was a practicing Catholic, there was only one prayer I was able to memorize.
I'm not saying this to brag, but through at least the first 8 years of my education, I was considered "bright" and got good grades. Somehow, I still couldn't remember all the various other prayers, with the exception of this one.

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom (us to heaven) come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread (sustenance), and forgive us our debts (sins), as we also have forgiven our debtors (sinned against us). And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

I may be wrong, but isn't this a monotheistic prayer, based loosely on Islam?

That's why I find it funny. The only prayer I could memorize was a monotheistic one. Maybe I was truly destined to discover Islam.

The bracketed part are my own transliteration as per my meaning.
