Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakatuh.

Brothers, I am in a bit of strife with my employer.

There is a possibility I may be facing disciplinary action. Insh'Allah according to most opinions, I'll be left off with a verbal or written warning.

Can you please do du'a to Allah (SWT) it's the latter.

Jazak'Allah.

May Allah swt keep you out of all troubles and help you. Amin

If possible keep reciting یا لطیفُ
only 129 times after each salah with any durood once before and after, till the issue is settled. It is easy...

As I mentioned before, I know someone who was in this position and could've broken down or even went further if they lost their job.

All was at stake and the error was THE BIGGEST One they could make, hence INSTANT DISMISSAL.

This person was told to recite Astaghfirullah over and over and over - They did and Alhumdulillah, the partners in the firm, the managers etc all brushed it under the carpet as if it never happened.

One of the managers even said that they had witnessed a miracle because the dismissal letter was ready in the morning and although they were upset, they had to follow procedure. When the meeting commenced in the afternoon, the Partner in the firm didn't hand over the letter, instead gave a warning. Alhumdulillah - The Partners decided not to dismiss this person :)

If you are dismissed, then thank Allah it was only a dismissal and not a sentence (depending on the situation). Make Shukr for all that he has given you through it, and InshaAllah, there will be something better to come out of it.

Do you have a trade union in your work place?

Will you be allowed to take a colleague with you to the disciplinary meeting?

Have you read through your company's disciplinary policy?

Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakatuh brother.

Yes, I am with the Union and I just took a look at our Disciplinary Policy.

My actions are considered "Misconduct" and not "Gross misconduct".

Alhamdulillah. Hopefully, I'll be let off with a slap on the wrist or a verbal/written warning.

Please continue making du'a.
