When an issue is information intensive then the six minute videos are magical - both as a tool of communication as well as capsules of information.

Today the west is extremely jittery about us and the majority community of India, the Hindus, have been successfully manipulated by the Saffron into believing that we Muslims are some sort of villains for them.

While we might not have much to communicate to the Zionists, they know it all, but to the west and to the common Hindus we do owe a responsibility to communicate in a conservative and mundane tone as to what we mean and what we intend to do.

And we have to communicate to the rest of the world to that Islam is the way of life that God expects and desires of us.

Most importantly we have to communicate to our own fellow Muslims as to what our world view is supposed to be.

The Sufi, the Madarsa and the Jama-at has not done that. It is our duty.

And we have to communicate a lot. That is where the six minutes video format, with rapid delivery of info, is most suited for the task. A video of this type can easily be expanded into a traditional one hour discourse. Or it can be transcribed into an article.

This material that we have to cover is so huge that each of these short videos or lectures can be turned into a book. And that we have to do.

For some time I have been getting the idea to work on these videos. In this thread I intend to work on the comprehensive list of these videos.

My model for this activity is this presentation by Dr Shashi Tharoor at the Oxford Union debate. This particular video is rather longish but serves the purpose because of its sheer focus and cutting edge arguments.

As far as youtube is concerned which is the largest video sharing platform, it's algorithm has changed over the years. Currently, youtube promotes videos based upon watch time. Therefore, videos which are usually between 15 to 20 minutes in length and are engaging enough to keep the viewers watching at least 60% are promoted and suggested more by youtube to the audience. This creates a great opportunity to place ads and as a result it helps generate more income for youtube and the creators.
