Politicians will keep on shouting colourful slogans and the majority will always fall for their promises. This is democracy.

Madina ki Riyasat. Tabdeeli. Khushali. Insaf. Corruption ka Khatma. Iqbal ka Islam. Status Quo ka Khatma. Iyyaka Na'budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta'aeen

IK proved to be one BIG disappointment in every field. He is simply INCOMPETENT, surrounded by those who keep his ego inflated, no matter what...

He may not be corrupt, but he is protecting the corrupt in his party. I have strong suspicion he is a ‘partner in the crime’ in Kashmir. It is simply that the reaction was more intense than the perpetrators of this crime expected, and that the Kashmiri people proved much more resilient than what they thought of them....

Even his ‘support base’ is now sick and tired of him.

The wise ones have been telling him that he must set a clear vision and route for his party. If he is serious about Islam, then he must sweep out the liberal/secular lobby. Otherwise, must remain neutral instead of using the name of Islam.

Bhutto's slogan was socialism while his party consisted of feudal lords on one side and commoners on the other. He implemented land reforms in Punjab where as spared Sindh because his lands were there. Chou Enlai advised him to sweep out the feudals but he didn't take his advice.

This system is a complete joke and it can't produce great leaders which we are in need of badly.

IK has turned out to be worse than the previous rulers because with them we at least knew that what we were getting. Their moral corruption was out in the open for everyone to see. With IK, he hid behind a mask of sincerity and honesty while all this time he was nothing more than a slave to the "powers that be" and was being more dishonest with the nation than any of the previous rulers.

Though nothing is happening that the people of Pakistan don't deserve.

Shaykhul-Islam Mufti Taqi Usmani (HA)

The instructions for girls in Haripur and Peshawar to wear Abaya was praiseworthy and according to injunctions of the Qur'aan but KPK Government rescinded it even when First Lady (of Pakistan) wears a Niqab and her husband (Prime Minister) talks about Riyasat of Madina, will he not take notice???

Partner in crime in Kashmir?

He is a silent spectator like all the other Pakistani rulers before him.The real power doesn't lie with him though, there are bigger players involved and everyone in Pakistan knows it.

As a whole, we are slaves and stooges of the "superpower" so our foreign and defence policy really can't be that bold or aggressive.
