The Taliban have come to the position that they are in by force.

Yet we have to protect them as we have to protect a lamp in the gust of wind.

Have a look at this Zaid Hamid video.

The US would bull doze and gate crash into any country with an excuse out of a short list:
(1) There is no freedom of expression in this country
(2) There is violation of human rights in this country
(3) Rights of women are not respected in this country
(4) There is danger of terrorism from this country
(5) We have to make democracy safe in this place.

Secret talks held in Kabul between CIA and Taliban!

Taliban tell the Americans to withdraw by the 31st or face the consequences!

G7 summit held with main agenda of extension of withdrawing, Taliban still call the shots! America stuck on 31st withdrawal

What's going on?

Alhumdulillah ;)

Could it be that the Americans fear the Taliban will expose the real twisted terrorists behind 911? Have they done a deal to stay silent?

UK threatens to hold back humanitarian funding from the Taliban. Do the Taliban care?

The UN offered the Taliban millions not to destroy the statues of bamyan, did the Taliban flinch?

Koffee with Anan anyone ;) lol lol lol

(Quote from another thread)
He is John Glenton who refused to go back after the first war posting.

Here is the Amazon description of his book: Soldier Box

"I looked around my cell and saw the sheet of paper taped to the door at chest height. It listed everything in the room, chair, bed, soldier box … For a moment I thought it meant the cell itself; a box to put soldiers in."

When the War on Terror began, Briton Joe Glenton felt compelled to serve his nation. He passed through basic training and deployed to Afghanistan in 2006. What he saw overseas left him disillusioned, and he returned home increasingly political and manifesting symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.

When he refused to return for a second tour, he was denied his right to object and called “a coward and a malingerer.” He went absent without leave and left the country, returning later to the UK voluntarily to campaign against the wars. The military accused him of desertion and threatened years in prison.

Soldier Box tells the story of Glenton’s extraordinary journey from a promising soldier to a rebel against what he came to see as unjustified military action.

****
An Amazon Review of His Book
Quote:
I had the pleasure of meeting the author in person last year. Now without presenting as a sycophant, I can confirm that not only is this book a precise account of his experiences in Afghanistan but also that of the man. Honest, dry and without doubt accurate of his own experiences.

Let the detractors not focus on the disdain they have for Mr Glenton but challenge the material within the book. This is where their argument falls down. Ad hominem attacks of Joe aside we should focus our attention on what the military does to its recruits and attempts to do to those veterans who speak out.

Horror, Morality and Ethics are all relative to those who experience it. You don't have to be a 21st century John Rambo or Travis Bickle to stand upon a soap box and speak out. That takes something more than bravery.

It's important for our thought process and beliefs to be challenged thus only reinforcing the legitimacy of this book. If this cultivates deliberation and discussion then it's achieved itit's goal.

Jingoism and the Queen to one sidez I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to understand what life in the military can be truly like.

What disdain the UK has for John Glenton?

This can be guessed from another, critical, review of his book:

Quote:
Not much of a story really. The author deserted his unit rather than redeploying to Afghanistan for a second tour then made ludicrous claims that he was suffering from PTSD after driving a forklift truck at Khandahar airbase never going outside of the wire and zero experience of the actual ground war. After deserting his unit he was AWOL for 2 years and 6 days but claimed to be a conscientious objector after having to return to the UK after his tourist visa ran out while living in Australia.Joe Glenton is a complete fantasist and charlatan, barrack room lawyer and totally lacking in any of the qualities expected of a junior NCO in the British Army.He was disloyal and jacked on his mates.Just as well he served in the RLC in a support role because I wouldn't like to think he had my back in a firefighter. The man is a coward who has profiteered financially from peddling lies and untruths.

Foreign Policy Bitterness

There is a US publication called the Foreign Policy.

They have put the following headline on an article about the possible shape of the government in Afghanistan after Taliban walk over.
***
Q: What a Taliban Government Will Look Like?
A: Early indications suggest Afghanistan will be led by a 12-man council of criminals, terrorists, and the more pliant members of the former government.
***
Why so much of bitterness?
Well this is one possible understandable reaction of a defeated super power.

Similarly the British BBC has been using very negative headlines about Taliban.

They, the British, do not realize that their defeat in Afghanistan is correspondingly small as compared to the US.

I had never taken Zaid Hamid seriously, and now I realize I made a huge mistake.

This talk by Zaid Hamid was amazing. The victory of the Taliban was the result of a long and difficult struggle against all odds. What is remarkable is Zaid Hamid's claim that Pakistan armed and supported the Afghan National Army against the Taliban. This makes the Taliban victory a stunning proof of Help from the Unseen.

Orya Sahab says open amnesty has only been granted thrice in human history. First, at Fatah Makkah by Rasoolullah SAW, the second by Salahuddin Ayyubi RA at the victory at Jerusalem, and the third by the Taliban on their victory in Kabul.

Orya Sahab recounted the horrors of how Taliban soldiers were captured and killed by the US armed forces and the Western backed warlords. He said these horrors were forgiven by the Taliban, who undoubtedly lost sons and fathers.

Orya Sahab also says the Taliban invited their opponents to share power in the government, and Orya Sahab asked if Biden would share power with Trump, or if Modi would share power with Rahul Gandhi.

These extraordinary traits of the Taliban are being overlooked by the media, and a campaign of vilification and false propaganda is being played out.

Orya Sahab also mentioned an important point in passing. He said that when the Taliban were fighting the Americans, Mulla Omar RA put a stop to the arrival of Tablighi Jamat into Afghanistan because they would divert people away from the most pressing matter at hand, which was fighting the foreign occupation. It's true that Allah Taala guides an Ameer through ilham to take decisions that may outwardly seem hasty.

May Allah Taala ease the path of the Taliban and allow peace and prosperity to flourish in Afghanistan.

So finally all US creeps are out of Afghanistan.

But why were so many Indian anchors were cussing at and cursing Taliban?

And BBC and even Al-Jazeera reporters were stuck in their own Matrix like world.

Indian anchors (and the Indian intelligentsia) still cannot get over the fact that a Taliban minister came out on the tarmac and embraced Maulana Masood Azhar at the Kandahar airport after the hijacking of the Indian airplane. That humiliation is what is driving the present lethargy in the official Indian government response to the Taliban.

A very important thing he says from 7 mins 30 seconds about the media!

The Media is controlled by America. America dictates "Only Show the world what we give you permission to show, don't show them what we do not permit you to show"

I wonder when people will wake up and understand this in every aspect life, especially now!

There is a painting being shared on social where a large number of completely veiled women are headed in a direction but one unveiled woman, reading a book, is heading in opposite direction.

This painting is wrongly attributed to an Afghan painter Shamsia Hassani.

If you do image search of the following
questioning radicalism : changing your perspective
then you get two similar paintings and a better perspective.
