Du'a of Ammi Aisha رضي الله عنها for good dreams

عَنْ عُرْوَة بْن الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا أَرَادَتِ النَّوْمَ تَقُولُ اللَّـهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ رُؤْيَا صَالِحَةً صَادِقَةً غَيْرَ كَاذِبَةٍ نَـافِعَةً غَيْرَ ضَارَّةٍ وَكَانَتْ إِذَا قَالَتْ هَذَا قَدْ عَرَفُوا أَنَّهَا غَيْرُ مُتَكَلِّمَةٍ بِشَيْءٍ حَتَّى تُصْبِحَ أَوْ تَسْتَيْقِظَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ

‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr reported: Aisha, may Allah have pleased with her, would say when she intended to sleep, “O Allah, I ask you for good and true dreams, not false dreams, beneficial and not harmful.” When she said this, they knew that she would not say anything more until she awoke in the morning or in the middle of the night.

If one experiences fear, uneasiness or sleeplessness at night

بِسمِ اللهِ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِن غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِه وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِن همَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِين وَأَن يَحْضُرُون

If one experiences fear at night

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لاَ يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلاَ فَاجِرٌ مِن شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ فِي الأرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنهَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَفِتَنِ النَّهَارِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ طَوَارِقِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمن

I seek protection in the complete words of Allah Ta’ala, which neither a pious person nor a sinner can surpass; from the evil of what descends from the sky and what ascends in it, and from the evil of what He created in the earth and what comes out of it, and from the evil of the trials of the night and the trials of the day, and from the evil of those creations that come out during the night and day, except for those who come with good, O the Most Merciful
