Asalaam alekom

Will be be accountable for the Time we spend? I am following a sister on insta. She does sooo many things in a day that other would do in two or three. Everyone asks her how she manages and she doesn’t get tired by end of the day. She said because we will be accountable for Each minute. And i want to make it productive and be thankful.
Saying like that is right?

She does so many things and she also has time to document it all on social media? Don't be fooled. Her reality might be very different. Anyone could make themselves out to be anything on social media.

Don't fall for social media. Islam isn't about hashtags and glossy images with filters. I had one brother ask me what he can do to earn rewards and please Allah. I said serve your elderly parents. But that wasn't cool enough to post on social media so he decided on something else. So while he poses for pics to put up on social media his parents struggle on.

Don't try to compare yourself with others. Your responsibilities might be different from other peoples responsibilities.

Respected sister, she may be honest.

She may not be honest. Many people post on social media for multiple reasons.

One of the reasons is their followers and likes. So be careful not to be fooled by such things.

Even if the sister is honest in her actions, you are wasting your time on such platforms.

The creators of these social media apps only created them to waste time get people addicted.

Walaikumus Salam

Yes we will be held accountable for the time we spend in this world. According to a hadith free time is a blessing which many people waste.

Oh I never thought that way. InshaAllah i wont get much impressed with her but i think she wont lie as like she gives details of whole day in insta stories. Going tesco, shopping with pics then cooking same items and cleaning home all with pics she posts on her wall. She does job too, does home gardening and much more things. She basically cooks and share recipes, with that she has started sharing abt her routine and everyone just praises her. Thats why i was wondering how come she could manage that? But i only check her page for some motivation.

Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The son of Adam will not be dismissed from his Lord on the Day of Resurrection until he is questioned about five issues: his life and how he lived it, his youth and how he used it, his wealth and how he earned it and he spent it, and how he acted on his knowledge.”

Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Take advantage of five before five:

your youth before your old age,

your health before your illness,

your riches before your poverty,

your free time before your work,

and your life before your death.”

" نعمتان مغبون فيهما كثير من الناس: الصحة، والفراغ"

Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, "There are two blessings in which many people incur loss. (They are) health and free time (for doing good)".
