Salaam

I want to know about The Dua.
“Allah is sufficient for me.”

If you say it with believe, and leave some task to ALLAH. Would you ask someone for help if their is any need? Or it will go against that Dua? And will remove its effects?

If you say this Dua in distress that means Allah will help you through it. But can this dua be recited when you have no problem or stress. In which way will ALLAH suffice you (in your good time) ?

My prescription :)

I don't take it like medicine when I need it, I use it like vitamin tablets. Together with my secret of Astaghfirullah

It's medicine that tastes sweet, gives a cure/solution when in need or when not in need.

Manufacturers make kids vitamin pills to look like TV characters so they take it regardless. And they enjoy taking it.

Keep reciting it - You will feel good InshaAllah.

With regards to asking others for help in addition, then that is fine knowing that it is Allah who cures/helps in all matters. Allah may send his help via someone or something.

We seek help only from Allah - yet we are permitted to visit the doctors

Read the linked thread, inshaAllah it will help.

Did you recite
“Allah is sufficient for me.”
And then ask further questions regarding the notifications? (You understand now - then Allah will provide you with the means)

:)

InshaAllah Admin may be able to assist further on that matter.

You can use www.muftisays.com/forums/ucp.html?manage=myposts to see your threads and which ones have replies you haven't read.

Link added to menu above also. Before you'd have to visit User Control Panel to see link.

As for notifications, it's all conditional because of how many go out from the server so I'll check why you're not receiving.

Assalamua'laikum

Frankly speaking I wasn't the one who took Islam seriously, never read Namaz or heard any lecture. I always had a discontent in my heart like I would need something else like watching movies, going out to parks, long drives etc... and I think this is the case with most of the non-muslims.

Then one day I casually sat down in an Islamic lecture and it changed my life. Not in a way that some miracle happened, but it changed my thinking. I started to see how beautiful the teachings of Islam are and how by following them I can be self sufficient.

Allah has put peace in Islam, what ever else you do on earth, it's not going to give any kind of satisfaction. Alhamdulillah today I am busy with lot of work tensions, many of my non muslim friends ask me how I can survive without drinking, smoking, watching movies or listening to songs. My only answer to them is "Allah is sufficient for me"

So Allah is always there with clear signs, it is our responsibility to find Him

He is the only admin here. Some of the others are just authorizers or moderators.

You may say that He is the king here and some of the others are his soldiers to maintain law and order ;)
