Salam

Apologies if this been discussed iv not been on here much and didn't see it on recent topics.

Brunei has decided to implement more shariah which regardless of sultans intention is still a good thing

I wanted to know does Islam really say sodomites to be throwing of highest building as iv never read it but just heard it from young age.

Others say its upto the Khalifa what he decides to do. Did any of the early khulafaa ever come across any? Iv gone through seerah there's no mention of any at the time of rasoolullah (saw).

Lastly I'm not someone who is shy or ashahmed about any teaching of Islam but if it is mandatory for state the kill them what if there are 1000s in a country. Will it be in the states interest to kill 1000s? I accept flip side is going against Allah and his rasools (saw) command but I always felt one of the beauty of shariah is it looks at the greater good of the community
Example of this is niqab. Iv not heard this from a scholar and nor am I a scholar so if I'm wrong I'm to blame for this opinion. Niqab is to protect women from unwanted attention and pervs and to protect her. If a society targets women for wearing niqab my thought would be its better to remove it as the purpose of her wearing it was to save herself but now wearing it will put her in danger.

Aisha رضى الله عنها was told to lower her head garment/gaze in her house in front of a blind man!

It's not just to protect men from gazing, it's also to prevent women from gazing too.

Allahu alum.

No doubt but isn't main reason for purdah and stuff to protect honour and safety of Muslim women. If a scenario arose where wearing one will make u a target would it not be more Islamic to remove it unless u can do hijrah or always have a mehram with u
