Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakatuh.

Can the brothers from the UK let me know of any reliable agencies or agents they've performed Umrah with.

I'm looking for competitive quote.

I went with one few years ago. It was an economic package. Even though I had booked it through a UK Based company and a British agent. It turned out we were indirectly placed with an Indian mumbai based group. I didn't like their food and mannerism.

People might tell you to do sabr but don't fall for that.

Also try sabeeltravels.co.uk/ who advertised on muftisays.com in the past but I cannot verify the standards/quality.

Agreed. Many of these agencies are based in India and Pakistan. Many of them will even lie to you when you ask them where they're based. It's frosty obvious when they call you "dear" or "madam".

I feel more comfortable doing business with someone based in England.

Jazak'Allah Mufti Sahib.

I have contacted him. I said you referred me, so I hope he knocks on a heavy discount. :)

He'll think someone else referred you as I'm not mufti. Just "Yasin" please.

I'm sure mentioning a friend makes a difference generally.

albahisht.co.uk/

Tried tested and cannot fault them. Superb service. Honest and they know their business.

I haven't used them directly for Umrah, but booked through them for Umrah. However, did Hajj once with them. Best i've come across by far! Everyone we have recommended them to could not thank us more :)

Regular with them is Qari Shuayb Nurgat (Walthamstow Imam at Masjid e Umer)

As someone who's been many ramadans my advise is DIY. U won't be rushed or trying to adjust ur timetable to fit anyone else's n gives u max benefit. Just find 2 or 3 guys max to go with and bismillah. Plus ul save alot too. Skyscanner for cheapest flights n then shop around for hotels n visa. Booking. Com hav good deals

And one more thing. Last 10 days in makkah is something only rivalled by hajj and yawmul arafaat. I recommend u do last 10 there. Go madina for a few days before final ashara
