havnt deprived myself of anything. ive taken a principled stance. as for going hajj and umrah, if Allah invites me then tax or no tax il be there one way or another. i wont be a two faced hypocrite and criticize ale salool on the one hand for milking this & pricing the majority of the ummah out of going there and on the other hand by being part of the problem by going yearly simply because i can afford it.
there is plenty of good deads which you can rightly accuse of depriving myself of such as doing more tilawaat, tahajjud, jihad but i dont think this is one. make dua i get the strenght and courage to do all other good deeds i can do but dont out of lazyness weakness and cowardice.
