Also they when it comes to fazaile e amal we aren't speaking of just weak hadith we that are allowed to be used according to some ulama, we are speaking of hadith that other deobandi ulama said are too weak to be quoted.

You made a claim and refuse to back it up. Why do you have to make this into an arugument instead of a discussion.

I suspect you cannot back up your claim.

I had read Sh. al albanis classification of hadith of al adab al mufrad and I recall not being able to find any extremely weak hadith. When I have time I could double check.

THE DIFFERENT PUNISHMENTS FOR THE WOMEN OF JAHANNAM
Question

The Women of Jahannam.

Rasulullah (sallallah ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

‘O Ali, on the night of my ascension (Mi’raj) I saw women of my ummah who were being severely punished that I became concerned for them and started crying.

1) I saw a woman who had been hung by her hair and her brains were boiling,

2) I saw a woman who was hanging by her tongue and boiling water was being poured down her throat,

3) The third was bent over, her hands and feet were tied together,and snakes and scorpions were crawling all over her,

4) A fourth woman was hung by her breast,

5) The fifth had the head of a swine, body of a donkey and she had various different types of punishment,

6) The sixth woman had the face of a dog, fire was entering her body from her posterior and come out of her mouth and the angels were beating her with rods made of fire.

Sayyidatuna Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha) then enquired of her father,

‘Please, tell me, what did these women do to deserve such punishment?’

Then the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘Listen my dear:

1) The one who was hung by her hair didn’t bother covering her hair from strange men,

2) The one who was hung by her tongue use to harm her husband

3) The one hanging by her breasts was disloyal to her husband

4) As for the one who was bent over, her hands and feet were tied together,and snakes and scorpions were crawling all over her, she chose not to take an obligatory bath after relations/her haidh (monthly periods) and she use to scoff at salah

5) The woman whose head was transformed into a swines head and had the body of a donkey, she was a liar and use to carry tales,

6) And finally the woman who had the face of a dog and fire was entering her body from her posterior, she was a jealous woman and use to remind of her favours.

Answer

‘Allamah Ibn Hajar Al Haytami (rahimahullah) has quoted this narration in his ‘Az Zawajir ‘An Iqtirafil Kabair’ without a chain of narrators (sanad).

(Az Zawajir, Vol. 2 pg. 79)

It is not permissible to quote a narration until its authenticity can be verified. Since the above narration is cited without a chain of narrators it cannot be verified. The above narration therefore is not suitable to quote, especially since it exaggerates the punishments for the mentioned sins. Such exaggeration is usually found in fabrications.

Another reason for the above ruling, is that some contemporaries have also claimed to have located this narration in the books of the Shi’ah.

Cautionary note:

The above narration is also found in some unreliable editions of Hafiz Dhahabi’s Al Kabair. This narration is not found in the reliable editions of Al Kabair.

Yes a mufti once told me even Imam Ad Dhabai quotes fabricated hadith, and I saw other defenses of fadail e amal make the same claim. I then started reading a version of the kitab by Imam Ad Dhabai and while reading it I suspected something was fishy, as how could Imam Ad Dhabai quote so many strange narrations and the additional footnotes said they were fabricated!

Afterwards I found out it some versions of the kitab are misattributed to imam Ad Dhababi.

To the opening poster

I was in about 8 days jamat a few years ago, and almost everyday, either in taleem or in a talk, I would hear a narration which I learnt from social media, websites and forums that is not suitable to quote. When I can home, I printed out these narrations and the comments from hadithanswers.com and similar sites, and presented them to the Amir. His initial response was defensive, and he made it seem as if Sh Zakariya was such a giant in hadith, he couldn't make mistakes, and who are these aalims to question him. I told him to feel free to verify with his Shaykhs. He took the document from me and said he would read it.

I find that those aalims who are on social media become aware of the hadiths we hear everyday which are problematic.

مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب کو اللہ رب العزت نے جس مقبولیت اور شہرت سے نوازا ہے اس کا صرف تصوّر ہی کیا جاسکتا ہے، مشرق ہو یا مغرب، یورپ ہو یا افریقہ، غریب ہو یا امیر، ہر شخص مولانا کا عاشق اور دیوانہ اور مولانا کی ایک جھلک دیکھنے کو بیتاب نظر آتا ہے۔
اس شہرت اور کامیابی کے پیچھے مولانا کی قربانیوں کی وہ داستان ہے کہ جس پر اللہ تعالی نے ان کو یہ مقام عطا فرمایا ہے.

*● مولانا سے میری پہلی ملاقات:*
یہ غالبا 1998 کی بات ہے کہ مولانا اپنی جماعت (زمینداروں کی جماعت) کے ساتھ کراچی تشکیل پر تشریف لائے تھے اور بندہ اس زمانے میں فضائل اعمال کی تخریج کا کام کررہا تھا۔
مولانا نے ڈاکٹر امجد صاحب کو ایک روایت سنائی کہ آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: *من احب كريمتَيه فلا يكتبنّ بعد العصر*
جو شخص اپنی آنکھوں کی بھلائی چاہے تو وہ عصر کے بعد نہ لکھے.
بندہ اگلی جمعرات کو "اللآلی المصنوعة" لے کر خدمت میں حاضر ہوا کہ حضرت یہ حدیث نہیں، بلکہ امام احمد بن حنبل کا قول ہے.
مولانا کافی دیر تک سوچتے رہے کہ میں نے تو حدیث کے عنوان سے یہ روایت پڑھی.

*● مولانا سے گپ شپ:*
غالبا 2003 یا 2004 کی بات ہے کہ مدرسہ ابن عباس کے اساتذہ کے وفد کے ساتھ مدرسہ حسنین فیصل آباد جانے کا اتفاق ہوا اور وہاں مولانا کی شخصیت کا شاندار رُخ سامنے آیا کہ مولانا سادگی کا پیکر اور تکبر سے کوسوں دور ہیں، اور وہ زمانہ مولانا پر مشکلات کا بھی تھا، انہوں نے مدرسہ حسنین میں دوران بیان ایک شعر بڑے درد سے پڑھا:
*کسی سرنگوں سی ٹہنی پہ رکھینگے چار تنکے*
*اونچی شاخ ہوگی نہ گرےگا آشیانہ*
یہ مولانا کی زبان سے یاد ہوا شعر ہے.

*● علم کی طلب:*
ان ہی دنوں مفتی تقی عثمانی صاحب نے دارالعلوم کراچی میں ایک ماہ کا جدید مسائل کورس کروایا تھا جس میں بہت سے دارالافتاء کے مفتیان کرام نے شرکت کی تھی اور بندہ بھی اس میں پہلے دن سے آخری دن تک شریک رہا، جب مولانا کو اس کا علم ہوا تو کافی دیر اس موضوع پر بندہ سے سنتے رہے اور وقتا فوقتا سوالات سے مولانا کی جدید مسائل میں دلچسپی بھی ظاہر ہوتی رہی اور مولانا کا وسعت مطالعہ بھی سامنے آتا رہا۔

*● مولانا کی صلح جو طبیعت:*
*١.* رائیونڈ مرکز میں بہت سارے تنازعات اور مسائل کا سامنا حضرت مولانا کو کرنا پڑا لیکن مولانا کام سے جڑے رہے، بڑوں سے جڑے رہے اور ایک وقت ایسا آیا کہ مولانا متنازع شخصیات کیلئے سایہ ابر بنے، کہ جنہوں نے مولانا کیلئے بہت برا چاہا ان پر جب برا وقت آیا تو مولانا نے ان پر احسانات کی بارش کردی کہ علماء کے سامنے ہاتھ جوڑ کر ان کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنایا۔
*٢.* عالمی شوری کی تکمیل کے تنازعے میں مولانا سعد صاحب کے قدموں میں اپنی پگڑی تک رکھ دی کہ مولانا سعد صاحب شوری کی تکمیل پر راضی ہوجائیں.

*● مولانا اور تنازعات:*

*• دارالعلوم کراچی سے فون:*
بندہ چونکہ چار سال دارالعلوم کراچی میں دارالافتاء میں بطور متمرّن مفتی محمود اشرف صاحب کی زیر نگرانی کام کرچکا تھا اسلئے ایک دن بھائی وقار (خادم دارالافتاء، دارالعلوم کراچی) کا فون آیا کہ آپ کو دارالافتاء میں طلب کیا گیا ہے، وہاں پہنچ کر پتہ چلا کہ مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب کے کچھ بیانات جو انہوں نے مودودی صاحب اور دیگر موضوعات پر کئے تھے اس سے متعلق دارالافتاء میں کافی سارے استفتاء آچکے تھے اور دارالعلوم کراچی کے دارالافتاء کے حضرات چاہتے تھے کہ مولانا ان بیانات کی وضاحت اور قابل رجوع کلام سے رجوع کرلیں، چونکہ بندہ کا تعلق تبلیغی جماعت سے ہے تو یہ میری ذمہ داری لگائی گئی. بندہ نے اس کے بعد جو کوشش کی وہ تو یاد نہیں، البتہ لاہور میں علماء نے مولانا سے ملاقات کی اور اس ملاقات کے بعد مولانا کو علماء سے اور علماء کو مولانا سے کافی شکوے پیدا ہوئے.
*اور میرے علم کے مطابق یہ پہلا موقع تھا کہ جب مولانا کی شخصیت علمائےکرام کے ہاں متنازعہ بننی شروع ہوئی.* کہ اس سے پہلے تو روایات نقل کرنے میں عدم احتیاط کا شکوہ تھا(اور اب بھی ہے) لیکن پہلی بار مولانا نے ایسی باتیں کہیں جو کہ دارالافتاء والوں اور اکابر علمائےکرام کیلئے بےچینی کا باعث بننے والی باتیں تھیں.
*اور پھر مولانا تنازعات کا شکار ہوتے چلے گئے..*

*□* مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب کو اللہ تعالی نے جس قدر شہرت نصیب فرمائی اس کے بعد ان کا ہر عمل دلیل بنتا چلا گیا لہذا ان کے چاہنے والے اور ان سے اختلاف کرنے والے دونوں کی تعداد بےشمار ہونے لگی اور جہاں ان کے ہر عمل پر اعتراض ہونے لگے وہیں ان کے اعمال کی تأویلیں بھی پیش کی گئیں.
*مثلا:*
*١.* ان کے ساتھ چلنے والی زمینداروں کی جماعت کو متنازعہ بنایا گیا.
*٢.* مولانا کے انداز بیان کو ذات کی طرف دعوت قرار دیا گیا.
*٣.* مولانا کی علمی باتوں پر گرفت کی جانے شروع ہوئی.

*• نوٹ:*
اس متعلق واقعہ یاد آیا کہ ایک بار کھانے کے دسترخوان پر بندہ نے ان سے عرض کیا کہ خلافت فی الارض کے بیانات کی بنیاد آپ کو قرار دیا جاتا ہے تو مولانا نے فرمایا کہ بھائی مجھے موقعہ تو دے دیں کہ میں نے کیا کہا تھا اور کیا کہنا چاہتا ہوں.

*○ اس کے علاوہ:*
*١.* عمران خان اور ان کی اہلیہ کے ساتھ ایک ٹیبل پر بیٹھ کر کھانا کھانا، اس پر جو لے دے ہوئی وہ ناقابل فراموش ہے.

*٢.* مولانا کا باقاعدہ طلبہ میں بیان کرتے ہوئے *مولا علی کی وہ تشریح کرنا جو جمہور علمائےکرام کی تشریحات کے خلاف تھا.*

*٣.* ساؤتھ افریقہ میں ایسا بیان کہ جس میں شیعت کو بنیان بنانے کی ترغیب دینا *جس پر مولانا یوسف متالا صاحب کا ناراضگی بھرا پیغام بہت سخت تھا.*

*٤.* ایسی تقریب میں شرکت جس میں نسل کشی کی ترغیب اور لائحہ عمل بنایا جارہا تھا...
یہ تمام وہ امور تھے جن کی وجہ سے مولانا پر بےشمار اپنے چاہنے والوں کے اعتراضات موجود ہیں.

*٥.* مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب نے باقاعدہ ویڈیو بناکر عمران خان اور ان کی اہلیہ کی خوب تعریف کی کہ ریاست مدینہ اور پردے کا اہتمام اس سے قبل کبھی پاکستان کے حکمرانوں میں نظر نہیں آیا... وغیرہ
اس پر اپنے بیگانے سب ہی غصے سے لال پیلے نظر آئے.

*● مولانا اور موضوع روایات:*
بندہ چونکہ حدیث کا ادنی طالب علم ہے اور چند لوگ بندے کو اس نسبت سے جانتے ہیں اسلئے مولانا کے بیانات سوال کی غرض سے میرے پاس بکثرت بھیجے جاتے ہیں جن میں مولانا کی بیان کردہ روایات کی صحت معلوم کی جاتی ہے اور بارہا ایسا ہوا کہ روایات میں موضوع اور من گھڑت روایات بیان کی گئی ہوں یا ایسی تشریح کی گئی ہو جو جمہور امت کی رائے کے برخلاف ہو، جس پر جواب دینا بھی ضروری ہوتا ہے اور ساتھ میں مولانا کے مقام کا بھی خیال رہتا ہے.

*● بعض جوابات پر شدید اشکال:*
بعض اوقات ہمارے جوابات پر ہمارے اپنے ساتھیوں کا شدید ردّعمل سامنے آتا تھا کہ آپ ان کا نام لے کر یا ان کی بیان کردہ روایات کو یوں کھلے عام غلط نہ کہا کریں، لیکن بندہ عرض کرتا کہ ہم تو سائل کے سوال کے بعد جواب کے پابند ہوجاتے ہیں اور شخصیت چاہے کوئی بھی ہو لیکن روایات (کی صحت کی جانچ) کیلئے سند ہی اصل بنیاد ہوتی ہے.

*● حج 2018 کا ایک عجیب واقعہ:*
اس سال سن ٢٠١٨ میں حج کے موقعے پر مسجد نبوی میں جب بندہ ایک مشہور و معروف شخصیت مولانا یونس پالنپوری صاحب سے ملاقات کیلئے حاضر ہوا اور تعارف کیلئے نام عرض کیا تو وہ مولانا صاحب سخت ناراضگی کا اظہار کرنے لگے
اس کی وجہ یہ بنی کہ بندہ نے ان کی بیان کردہ روایات کی صحت کے متعلق ان کے صاحبزادے سے عرض کیا کہ مولانا سے کہہ دیں کہ ایسی روایت بیان کیا کریں جس کا دفاع ممکن ہو.

*○ مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب سے ملاقات کی خواہش:*
ہمارے ایک بین الاقوامی شہرت یافتہ دوست سے میں نے درخواست کی کہ مولانا سے کچھ وقت لے کر ملاقات کی ترتیب بنائی جائے تاکہ کچھ روایات کے متعلق عرض معروض کیا جاسکے
لیکن انہوں نے کہا کہ مشغولیت کی وجہ سے ممکن نہیں اور یہ بھی کہا کہ مجھے مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب سے بھی اسی جواب کی توقع ہے جو یونس پالن پوری صاحب کے ہاں سے ملا ہے.
اس سے پہلے بندے نے مولانا بلال کلام صاحب سے بھی یہی درخواست کئی بار کی تھی.
ہمارے ایک دوست بھائی ظفر (جو بھائی سہیل صاحب کے ساتھ کاروبار کرتے ہیں انہوں) نے بھی کچھ سبیل نکالنے کی کوشش کا کہا لیکن بار آوری نہ ہوسکی.
بہرحال بتانے کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ مولانا کی انتہائی مشغولیت کی بناء پر ان سے تفصیلی ملاقات کی اب تک ترتیب نہ بن سکی.

*☆* البتہ مولانا کا اپنی بات سے رجوع کرنا اور حق بات کو تسلیم کرلینا ان کے قریبی لوگوں کے درمیان کافی مشہور ہے.

▪ *خلاصہ کلام*
مولانا کی اپنی ذات ایک عظیم خصوصیات والی شخصیت ہے جن کو اللہ تعالی نے بڑی صفات سے نوازا ہے، لیکن بہرحال انسان ہیں اور انسان اپنی زندگی میں ہر طرح کے حالات سے گذرتا ہے اور تجربات بھی ہوتے رہتے ہیں، لہذا کسی ایک قول یا عمل کی وجہ سے پوری زندگی کی خدمات پر انگلی اٹھانا یا کسی کو مطعون قرار دینا کسی طرح بھی انصاف نہیں ہے اور کسی شخص کو ان کی ذاتی رائے سے محروم کرنا بھی ممکن نہیں کیونکہ ہوسکتا ہے کہ تصویر کا جو رُخ ان کے سامنے ہے وہ ہماری نگاہ سے اوجھل ہو لیکن مولانا کیلئے بھی یہ لازمی عمل ہے کہ ان کی زبان سے نکلا ہر لفظ ان کے چاہنے والوں کیلئے ایک دلیل کا درجہ رکھتا ہے اور اس میں انتہائ احتیاط کی جائے
