What to do when someone reads fabricated hadith?

یہ اعتراض مفتی صاحب نے نہیں کیا بھائی، انہوں نے تو صرف وہ اعتراضات لکھے ہیں جو لوگ مولانا پر کرتے ہیں. 

کیا ایک مفتی کو ایک بات من و عن نقل نقل کردینی چاہئیے یا کوئ وضاحت بھی کرنی چاہیے؟  مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب کے ڈرائیور کو تیز رفتاری پر چالان ہوا تو اصولا اعتراض تو یہ بھی ہے؟

Muadh Khan: Mufti Saheb, I am not a Tableeghi and neither am I some kind of Maulana Tariq Jameel Saheb (HA) supporter but I would like to ask you a few questions about your recent post.

Mufti Abdul Baqi: I run a serialised version of episodes entitled “Tanbeehat” and the subject matter related to (transmission of) Ahadeeth and it has now reached 160 episodes. You can google “Mufti online” and by “Mufti Abdul Baqi” on YouTube and check some of these. I also have a channel on YouTube and it is also on Facebook. I am a “hardcore Tableeghi” and I have also spent 1 year in Tableegh.

Muadh Khan: Mufti Saheb, You have mentioned a few things in your post which you are not supporting but I am objecting to some of these matters.

Mufti Abdul Baqi: I have narrated them as these are known (in public) but not personally commented.

Muadh Khan: Mufti Saheb, Exactly what I am saying that considering your stature you should not even narrate these matters without investigation as public have misunderstood. I am contacting you because there is a chance that you may not have known the facts behind these.

Mufti Abdul Baqi: Such as?

Muadh Khan: I will comment on all 5 but 1 is abysmal and the issue of Hazrat Maulana Yusuf Motala Saheb (HA) is a mistake. Hazrat (HA) has misunderstood, Maulana Tariq Jameel Saheb (HA) never said those things and when he came to UK, Maulana Farook Kazi spoke to him and he directly clarified the issue. It is my opinion (and we can disagree) that you should NOT even narrate these (public) stories without investigation

But let’s agree to disagree. While we are talking, is it possible for me to forward you some queries about Hadeeth and its chains which may be beneficial for western Muslims? Translating them into Urdu is not a problem for me and you can discuss the query on your YouTube channel and give us answers.

We also ask the Ulama in South Africa but since you specialise in the field of Hadeeth and give detailed response, your answers may benefit us Insha'Allah.
