The Tareeqah Muhammadiyah (led by Shaykh Ahmad Dabbagh db) is holding several retreats across the UK on the topic "Unveiling the Unseen". The objective of the 3 day retreat is to connect you to the unseen world e.g. participants will experience meetings with the Awliya and the Prophet Sallallaahu Alayhi wasallam. I know people who have been to these retreats and have been blessed with these spiritual meetings/experiences. The Tareeqah does emphasize that the purpose of sulook is not to have these visions but it's a way of encouraging people as they are so attached to the material world. I am interested to attend but wanted to check if anyone here has any background on the Shaykh/Tareeqah/these retreats?
ive not heard of him, but if he is from ahle sunnah then dont see the harm.but remember all these visions and state of ecstasy and haal is not the real purpose behind tazkiya. infact sometimes for the wrong person it could have the wrong affect.
