Asalam o Alaikum,
This forum was created to educate Muslims as well as Non Muslims about traditional Islam which is a good thing.
However, I feel that the rating system and reps endanger the intentions of those who participate in this forum. One can get spiritually sick in the disease of vanity, pride, showoff and lust of recognition which can destroy the good deeds.
Therefore, it is my suggestion that only two features are enough for scoring a post. AGREE and DISAGREE. However these two features shouldn't add or reduce the reputation of the poster. What I mean is that remove the reputation feature of the members but allow agreeing and disagreeing with a post to establish it's weight.
Finally, I think that beginner, regular, senior member and pearl of wisdom are sufficient titles to rank a member.
