Devil worship has always been there. No doubt.

However, i am pointing to this devil worship, which has emerged in the past 100 years.

Secondly, i fully agree that not every scientific discovery should be twisted to make it look satanic. Shariah has told us to be on the middle path.

Having said this, this world is not the world of old. Whatever developments that have happened in the last 30-40 years, were not there since Adam (AS) was sent to this earth. There have been massive changes on every scale.

Lastly, you've rightly pointed out that music is HARAM, and there is no point in looking further beyond it. However, the music of Noor Jehan in Pakistan is vastly different to the music of Black Sabbath. The former is HARAM, and the later is HARAM (Plus Satanic and based on black magic, something that has never happened before), which gives us all the more reasons to stay away from it, and also be READY for tough times and start our preparations!

Would you agree that oculists follow some of the traditions of the ancient Egyptians? Would you also agree that some of these entertainers follow “Kabala”?

If so, then these are ancient Satanic traditions which have been around for thousands of years and nothing new.

Prepare how? Its Haram so educate people on the matter being Haram.

Exactly my point!

This whole interest amongst Muslims about illuminati and freemasonry is superfluous to guidance of lay Muslims.

A scholar or a Da’ee DOES NOT need to explain to a Sister in depth as to why she needs to avoid certain clothes and link to a certain symbol or trend. She needs to work on her Eemaan and avoid Hara, keep things basic and simple.

You are (Masha’Allah) educated in Deen and Dunya but for most people this is not necessary. They don’t need to know about hard rock, Madonna or Celine Dion etc, in fact most people do not know about these things.

It is in your personal opinion that these are Dajjalic influences, this may be true or may not be true but it does not have any impact on the dubious (or impermissible) nature of the matter.

In summary, we are agreeing that Muslims need to be warned about these matters being Haram and we are also agreeing that these are Satanic influences BUT we are disagreeing about the source and impact of Dajjal in these matters…You believe they are versus I am saying that it “could be…”

Either way, we need to advise Muslims to on their guard against these matters.

P.S: Just because someone worships the devil, does not mean that the devil responds to all of them! For most it is just a lifestyle. And it has been around for thousands of years

The Men Who Stare at Goats is the one experimental program that got me thinking seriously about there being someone else pulling the strings of these disbelievers. I would expect these people to dismiss the notion of "nazar" as superstition but for them to seriously consider it a viable weapon of war was very surprising.

What is so unbelievable about that? In military research all interesting ideas and cultural practises are looked at.

Russian Spetsnaz looked a Naqshbandi practises of Pass-Anfaas and it is documented, why is it the influence of Dajjal?

Israel has 43 university departments doing research on Islam so do you think Nazar is hidden from people? Evil eye is a common concept in other religions as well.

That is my point that these are common ideas and well known and “Dajjal” does not need to inspire these. At any given time there are thousands of scientists looking at animal behaviour, the reversing sensors on my car are inspired from bats (sonar) so is there Dajjal involved in it?

No doubt, Dajjal will use scientific and technological breakthroughs.

Even young people here who have grown up in Muslim families dismiss it as a superstitious nonsense, so naturally I have a hard time believing that these people who have grown up worshipping logic and critical reasoning more than they ever worshipped a Creator would believe in something as abstract a concept as evil-eye, let alone thinking of weaponizing it.

I get your point regarding not viewing all scientific advancement so skeptically and I never do. For me it's more important the kind of impact that this wild worldly success of the non-Muslims versus the believers is having on our youth. This is making them think that the formula for success lies in the ways of the kuffar rather than the way of our Prophet SAW. What I am trying to impress upon people these days is that it's not all what it seems to be. They may have some help in this regard. And this is just my speculation which can neither be proven with certainty nor disproven so there's a chance either way.

It brings to mind a point that brother sipraomer raised in a different thread that why have our Muslim youth who have studied in the environments of the disbelievers, using the same resources, under the tutelage of their experts and in famous Ivy League institutions not been able to come up with a single game-changing invention or discovery or the sort that brings the world to their feet? Maybe because the human mind just cannot reach those depths of understanding required to understand concepts like, say, electromagnetic waves and their uses, without someone nudging them slightly towards it. Someone who lives in a different realm and perhaps knows things we don't.

I could be horrendously wrong, who knows. This is not stopping me from using technology or trying to run away from it but it is definitely something that I feel needs to be explored more.

Assalamu alaikum

The video on Digital Ummah is quite scary. They have linked everything to Satanism. What's with alchemist of Paulo Coelho? I liked this novel but they seem to have a problem with the Egyptian pyramids mentioned in the novel. I don't understand this thing.

Disclaimer: I'm not denying the existence of these signs and symbols and declaring them as coincidence and I know that Dajjal will be using music to grow his followers. I'm just asking a question about a novel.

I asked the opinion of a Satanist on the video and he gave me detailed responses. Obviously I don't agree with them but it was interesting to note how they see it.

Quote:

The video takes often arbitrary symbols and ascribes meaning to them outside their original meanings. It also takes ordinary objects one can reasonably expect to see around like red string and insists it is a grand conspiracy. It takes hand gestures, some of which are just still frames of arbitrary movement and says these gestures have deep evil meaning with no real basis. It invokes the blood libel/human sacrifice/pedophilia myth that's long been defeated by Jeffrey S. Victor. There is actually a point in the video whose actual main point is "This is Anton LaVey, he was a Satanist. He made this triangle with his hands in a picture. Some other people made a triangle with their hands in a picture. Coincidence? I think not!" The video misrepresents what satanism is, misidentified satanic symbols (most notably confusing a pentacle and a pentagram, basic stuff), and disregards the idea of artistry in order to suit its narative. Bob Dylan and Lady Gaga both clearly talk about worshipping and talking to God in the video, not Satan. Also the video is obviously meant to scare you into believing something, even though it claims to be about the illuminati and music industry. The illuminati is never mentioned in the video. The music industry is the prime focus, but only pop music from the last 5 or so years, and not even the majority of pop artists. The video inexplicably goes into video games and money with no real explaination or function other than to seem spooky. Many of the videos that supposedly show people admitting to devil worship are either videos of people saying shocking things to make money, videos of someone speaking metaphorically, videos of people making a joke, or videos of people probably on drugs. Oh, and Crowley's religion is often seen as satanic, but it was really it's own thing. Do what thou wilt is a cool phrase, and it's not suprising to see it in popular media. Seeing it there does not indicate a vast conspiracy. The video never cites its sources on what symbols mean or what rituals look like or anything, and the word magic is taken as damning in any context when it isn't. The video even mislabeled the All Seeing Eye as the One Eye. Theres really a lot to it, and a point by point breakdown would require a lot of time and attention. This video looks like they took any other spooky youtube conspiracy video and combined it with Islam. I am a musician as a hobby, but I know professional musicians and understand how the industry works. Satan, a fictional being, is not the reason for success. Most often it's a talented person making the right moves and meeting the right people, which is how you get to be successful in any creative industry.

Thank you for the detailed response. But do you really think all these symbols, gestures etc are a coincidence? I can't brush it off just like that and I don't think these symbols are arbitrary. Nevertheless I believe some of the things in the video are nothing but creativity of a conspiracy mindset. I don't think alchemist, the novel of Paulo Coelho is linked to Satanism and other such things.

Quote:

I think often they're a product of doing whatever is a popular thing to do. An artist sees that kids latched on to when another artist in the genre put a circle around their eye. The first artist wants to make money, so he does it too and becomes a little more popular with kids who now think this artist is like them and like what they already enjoy. Or there are other meanings behind them unique to the individual making them. I think they're largely coincidence. Even the symbols touted by the video as being the same are very different other than one or two details. Often they are arbitrary. Just speaking from my experience with musicians, satanism, and research into occultism from a non theistic perspective. And that was one point I forgot. Will Smith talked about being able to do what he sets his mind to and the video claimed that meant it was satanic. How does a video not lose credibility after something like that?

Quote:
One eye has often represented being all knowing as a God. It also can represent not knowing the whole truth. It also fits better in geometric design at times. It also can represent the window to the soul, seeing people for who they are. It also can represent hiding yourself partially. There are so many things it can reasonably mean that selecting just one and assuming it indicates a vast conspiracy among elite musicians to some how both secretly and openly worship the devil as a means of taking over the world is unreasonable

Quote:

When trying to decipher symbolism, it's important to consider the surrounding information. In the case of music, a symbol within a song, album, or body of artistic work should be considered in the context of that artistic work and with the artist's intent to create a cohesive piece in mind. Just saying "drake covered his eye" neglected why drake may have chosen to do that as an artist at that time and in that work.

Quote:

Symbols are human things. I have several tattoos, all of which are symbolic and none of which would be guessed correctly if I didn't explain the personal meaning I put into them. Symbols exist in varying degrees of ambiguity. Some, like words, are not very ambiguous. Some, like an owl, are. Owls have a lot of symbolism in any culture where they naturally have existed, and that symbolism varies. Justin Bieber having an owl tattoo doesnt nessicarily mean he worships old Egyptian gods or whatever. Heck, it could just mean he thinks owls are cute.

Quote:

It's a popular myth that is easily referenced to say any number of things. It's much like saying the phrase "Big Brother is watching." It's a reference to a popular story that when said in context has a meaning other than the literal words.

Another good example is the phrase "make the magic happen." If I say that, I dont mean I'm going to set up my altar and do a ritual. I mean I'm going to work hard in a team setting to create something moving and high quality, and that our hard work will be almost unexplainable to the outside world, like magic.

Quote:

Context is everything there is no metaphysical book that says if you place your hands a particular way it's about satan whether you are aware or not. Take for example the "horns" at rock concerts. Index and little finger extended, all others closed. You know the one. In the context of the concert, it is a way of saying "I like and support this music, I'm having a good time." In the context of a gathering of Satanists, it becomes the Cornu, a satanic symbol. In the context of the University of Texas at Austin, it's the hookem horns. This has absolutely nothing to do with the devil, and is really just a show of support and group identity with the college, whose football team is the Longhorns, a type of bull raised in texas. All of these are equally valid in context and no contextual meaning overrides the other meanings.

Quote:

Theres another one! Rocker Ronnie James Dio, who really popularized it in the metal scene, has said as much. But when you look at what the symbol means in the context of Satanism it takes on a Satanic meaning. I know that because I'm a satanist and read it in my satanic literature. But neither is more correct than the other. Context. Intent. All of that

Lol, I'm sorry I didn't take the time to read the response by the Satanist but I wouldn't really take what he says as the truth. I'm sure Satanists are willing to twist anything.

He's most probably playing with your mind to confuse you. Maybe, that's just my view

I disagree with him and I've told him that, along with "music is haram" and why we think it is Satanic and Dajjalic. His response was:

Quote:
Music being Haram is one of the main reasons I know I could never be a Muslim. Music is a beautiful thing, and the explainations given simply do not sway me.

Plus it was a huge group where I asked him, he does not even know about me so I don't think he was playing with my mind; he was just answering my questions.

Would the average Jew on the Israeli streets know what goes on in Rothschilds and similar elites' Eyes Wide Shut kind of parties? Even if he is a Satanist doesn't mean he is in the inner circle. He would know only that which was used to convince him to sell his soul.

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

I have no doubt that most of the end users (e.g. in the context of music -
those who buy the albums, go to concerts, dress like their idols, throw up rock hand signs etc) are mainly oblivious to what they are doing and following. But regardless of their ignorance they are being affected by it. They will follow their idol like a god without even knowing it. If their idol has an opinion on something they will follow it. If their idol tells them to do something they will do it. If their idols dresses and looks a certain way they will emulate it. If their idol wants something from them they will provide it. Rap culture (when it was a grass roots movement) used to be about being mean and tough and from the streets. Rap culture was masculine and anti gay. This reflected in those who were a part of that culture. New rap culture encapsulates femininity and homosexuality. The old school rappers of before are now coming out as gay friendly and dressing in feminine styles that they used to be vehemently against. So what does the end users do? They follow their idols and become exactly like them. They start to embrace femininity and homosexuality etc. They become what their idols tell them to become. Their idols are like their prophets. ( Femininity and homosexuality are just two examples. I'm too lazy to think of more examples.) So even though they don't have the understanding of what's actually going on, they are still falling into the trap of shaytaan and eventually dajjal.

Most of the middle men don't care who they sell their soul to as long as they gain money, power and fame. Money, power and fame is their god and that's what they long to gain. They get told what to do, how to dress, what to say, what to promote etc. They don't care what they do as long as they get Money, power and fame. Following the same example of music, the middle men are the expendable performers who are used and abused behind the scenes and rejected once they Have served their purpose. They Have sold out to the devil for the meagre gains of this world. To get anywhere in their industry they have to suck up to the right people. It's not about talent. It's about the industry choosing you and to be chosen you have to be their slave and do their bidding. They tell you what clothes to wear, what eye to cover, what tattoo to get, what hand signs to do. In vampire lore they are called familiars I think. They are just the slaves. If they try to go against their masters then they will have drug charges, murders charges, paedophilia charges etc thrown at them as they will no longer be protected by their masters. It's their masters who supply them with drugs, guns, little children etc in order to corrupt them even further and to have leverage over them. These performers/entertainers are just the tools to get the job done. They are nothing. When one falls from grace another is elevated and put in their place.

Right at the top are those who laid the foundations of the aforementioned. You won't hear about them and you won't know about them. They are the ones with the real power. They are the ones who are truly worshipping the devil. They are sincere in their devil worship. They don't need to be controlled. They are the ones who are laying down the foundations so everything that is built above has to follow the foundations. They don't care about minor details as everything will follow what they predesigned. These are the ones who are allies of the devil and they are in direct communication with the devils. In fact they are devils themselves.

Other industries such as sports, gaming, movies etc will be following a similar pattern.

No point in explaining it to those who think otherwise without knowing anything about it but your time in explaining it to others is appreciated.

If you are asking on a forum as a anonoym that they cannot affect you BUT Sunnah gives us advice to seek good company so stay away for the sake of Sunnah and not that some harm can come to you.

Since you have asked me a question, I will try to answer. sipraomer lacks basic knowledge of sciences and is least interested in even remotely exploring the gaps in his knowledge, I am not insulting the brother but stating his clear point of view.

Let’s gets back to the issue.

Knowledge advances by:

  1. Exposure
  2. Opportunities
  3. Experience
  4. Building on previous Knowledge

People in substandard educational systems lack those, that’s all. In the West an average person has 1,2 and 3 and can therefore build upon 4.

A practical example is this thread:

www.muftisays.com/forums/14-peoples-say/12164-inflammator...

xs11ax is NOT a Doctor, he is not trained in medical sciences and has little to no experience in the field of medicine BUT exposure to information has given him the edge to research and be able to discern matters.

It is important to note what he is doing. He is not just “googling!” He is actually separating good research from bad research
Would he been able to do this if he was living in India/Pakistan? No! He would not have had access, if he had access he would not have had opportunities, if he had opportunities he would not have had the experience.

Notice that NOWHERE have I spoken about intelligence at all…This has NOTHING to do with intelligence.

Do you all think that xs11ax is inspired by Dajjal? No!

The same situation is happening in universities across the world daily and many times over. Is it happening in Darul-ulooms? No!
Is it happening in universities of Pakistan? No!

I know because I have posted about issues in stem cell research in Pakistan? Are people in Pakistan, stupid? No! Are they thick?

No…

Just exposure is missing.

The same students come to the West for post graduate studies and excel so this proves that intelligence and Dajjal is not the issue.

A large number of scientists in key fields are not only Muslims but practising Muslims so certainly not being inspired by Dajjal, at all.

BUT never mind and lets carry on believing that science and Technology is being developed under the influence of Satan and Dajjal and then we wonder why the Ummah is in such a mess!

On one hand we ask to prepare and on the other hand we believe that the knowledge we seek is coming from Satan/Dajjal...

About science!

Scientific experimentation is highly regulated in the West and you have to pass through multiple quality gates and ethics board to even get approval.

So a person may want to get rich but they won’t be able to publish OR do anything without going through many authorisations.

A new drug makes huge amounts of money but it has to go through many many trials to get approved…You cannot even get a trail of drugs which are promising and breakthrough treatments without ethical standards and believe me there is BILLIONS with a “B” at stake.

Satanists are basically hedonists and they follow hedonistic pursuits, that’s the truth. Muslims (and Christians) believe them to be in actual communication with and working with the devil…some may be but 99.99999% are not!

Not something I wish to even remotly pursue but it is the truth!
