This is the old manuscript used in most Darul-ulooms, it is the (Imam) Harithi version:

www.riyadhalelm.com/book/9/107_mosnd_hnifah_harthi.pdf

This is the same one typed up:

shamela.ws/rep.php/book/834

This is the version by Imam Haskafi (RA) which is a better and updated version:

library.islamweb.net/hadith/display_hbook.php?bk_no=635

This is the Nadwi version with updates on the above by Allamah Sindhi (RA):

ia902809.us.archive.org/33/items/ELMEWAHIBULLETIFEHSherhM...

And this is materpiece from Maulana Abdur-Rasheed Naumani Saheb (RA) which Allamah Shibli Naumani (RA) never saw:

This is the Urdu version (with updates) note the beginning paragrpahs of page 19:

ia600604.us.archive.org/11/items/MusnadImamUlAzamAbuHanif...

What I like about this Urdu version is that Hadeeth are cross referenced to other books so it makes it easier for laymen like me to follow...

Hence my point that Allamah Shibli Naumani (RA) may be did not have access to the newest (Arabic version) from Karachi! The Urdu version heavily borrows from that one...

P.S: I believe that the Arabic screenshot should say "Abdur-Rasheed" and not "Abdus-Shaheed"  but I may be wrong!

How can Abu Hanifah err

Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi (392 – 463) narrates in Tarikh Baghdad: Al-Khallal informed me: ‘Ali ibn ‘Amr al-Hariri informed me that ‘Ali ibn Muhammad al-Nakha‘i narrated to them: Najih ibn Ibrahim narrated to us: Ibn Karamah narrated to us: We were with Waki‘ [ibn al-Jarrah] (126 – 196) one day and a man said: “Abu Hanifah erred!” Waki‘ said:

How can Abu Hanifah err when with him are the likes of Abu Yusuf (113 – 182) and Zufar (110 – 158) in their logic; and the likes of Yahya ibn Abi Za’idah (120 – 182), Hafs ibn Ghiyath (117 – 194), Hibban (111 – 171) and Mindal (103 – 169) in their memorisation of hadith; and the like of al-Qasim ibn Ma‘n (100 – 175) in his knowledge of language and Arabic; and Dawud al-Ta’i (105 – 162) and Fudayl ibn ‘Iyad (107 – 187) in their asceticism and their scrupulousness? The one whose sitting partners are such, he does not come close to erring, because if he erred they would correct him.

Was imam Abu Hanifa RA masoom.

Maulana Ameen Safdar Okarvi RA has answer for this.
No he was not masoom, but his errors were not allowed to continue.
His council of experts and his trained disciples didn’t allow the error to continue.
So we ahnaaf are not moved by allegations that:
He was not a tabaee
He was not thiqaa
He narrated few Ahadith
He had memorized a few Ahadith.

We strongly believe that he was a great mujtahid and a Faqeeh. And we continue to follow his fiqh.

Summarised:
The world's best sanad (chain of narrators) is Abu Hanifa from Hammad from Ibraheem from Alqama from Abdullah from Rasulullah SAS.

Imam Zufar RA narrates from Imam Abu Hanifa RA that he heard from Hazrath Hammaad that "I observed Ibraheem Nakhaee's, his actions (character) were similar to Alqama; and actions of Alqama were similar to Abdullah Ibn Masood RA. And Abdullah bin Masood RA actions were similar to Rasulullah SAS.

Imam Abu Haneefa RA was dhaeef.

MaulanaAmeen Safdar RA’s personal experience.

During discussion with a person, he said “Imam Abu Haneefa RA was dhaeef”.

I replied “You are thousand times more dhaeef”
He got wild and said ”you prove that I am dhaeef through daleel, No court allows ambigious argument, then how can you present ambiguous argument on something related to deen about me”
I said “When ambiguous argument is not acceptable for an ignorant person like you, then how can we accept ambiguous argument against Hazrath Imam Hanifah RA, his imamath of fuqha, mhaddiseen, ulema, sufiyah is clearly visible”.
He said this is the view of Muhaddith, Ibn e Addi.
I said “what sharaee proof did he had”
He said “we blindly accept the view of Muhadditeen”
I said “then you are blind follower, a muqallid, and taqleed is shirk for you”
He said “true, this is taqleed, but you are a muqallid, you accept this”
I said “ I am a muqallid, but I don’t even do taqleed of Imam Shafaee RA the Imam of Ibn e Addi. Who said I am muqallid of Ibn e Addi”
