Who was hadhrat maulana Jameel sahib rahimuhullah of Raiwind? Short biography by bhai Naeem Butt sahib

Halalified YT Audio

After the passing away of Shaykh Abdul Wahab rahimuhullah; immediately Maulana sahib rahimuhullah has also sadly passed away.

They were resident in the neighbouring markaz in Khanpur. Around 1982-1983, they started coming to Raiwind markaz for one month tarteeb. Maulana sahib used to come early, sit behind the Imam, and engage in recitation of the Quran e Majeed. Maulana Sulaiman sahib rahimuhullah, who was the Imam of Raiwind markaz, was going on Hajj and it came to select a deputy Imam. Maulana Sulaiman sahib rahimuhullah proposed and selected Maulana Jameel sahib rahimuhullah. Soon thereafter Maulana Sulaiman sahib rahimuhullah also passed away and since then Maulana Jameel sahib rahimuhullah.

Their special quality was to convey the message of deen with simplicity, as found in the Seerah of Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wassalaam, in such a manner that both the educated and uneducated could understand them. Their words affected and settled on the hearts of the audience. They were a Hafiz of the Quran e Majeed and used to teach in the madrassah. Haji Abdul Wahab sahib rahimuhullah used to send them as their deputy to ijtemas for delivering speeches. Allah Ta'ala had given them a high status. They served in Raiwind markaz for around 35 years.

We have been deprived of a great personality. May Allah Ta'ala accept them and elevate their ranks, Ameen.

Well, apparently, Haji Mohammad Ishaq Patel the zimmedar of TJ in UK has died this morning. His funeral prayers will be held alongside Maulana Jameel's after zuhr today. He had been in Pakistan to commiserate over Haji Abdul Wahab's death.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

What is even happening? :(

May Allah taala forgive Haji Ishaaq Sahab, and elevate his status, and reward him immensely for his khidmat of deen.

Inna lillahi Wa inna ilaihi Rajeoon.

Maybe brother Alif is right in his own sense. However, the dying of senior ulema so closely one by one is not a usual thing to happen.

Anyway, I don't want to indulge in any debate because it's futile.

I believe a similar sequence of events happened back in 1996 or 1997 too. Maulana Saeed Ahmed Khan, Maulana Umar Palanpuri and some others died one after the other back then

I would not exaggerate to say that no Tablighi Buzurg's speech was as eloquent for me as Maulana Jameel's bayan. His sweet voice, his manner of explaining, his sincerity. Ma Sha Allah, I will miss him.

Bhai Ishaaq Patel sahib rahimuhullah of Dewsbury who was the zimmedaar of the UK shura passed away in Raiwind around Subh-e-Sadiq انا لله وانا اليه راجعون

He was a close companion of hadhrat Hafiz Patel sahib rahimuhullah and had gone to Pakistan to pay condolences to the elders of Raiwind on behalf of UK. Who could have known that it was going be their last journey in this temporal world and that he would never be returning.

Bhai Ishaaq Patel sahib rahimuhullah was a unique personality, their beautiful akhlaaq and smile always attracted you to them. Their voice was captivating, bayaans simple to understand yet depth to them, their pronouncement of the Blessed Name of Allah was stressed and unique.

Really heartbreaking news and great loss to the UK and ummah in general.

Bhai Ishaaq Patel sahib's rahimuhullah janaza salah will be performed along with hadhrat Maulana Jameel sahib rahimuhullah after Zohar salaah. Their graves will be next to each other adjoining the grave of hadhrat haji Abdul Wahab sahib rahimuhullah.

"And he who obeys Allah and the Prophet, he will be with those whom Allah has favoured, the Prophets, the Siddiqeen, the Shuhada and the Saliheen, and what good companions they are" (4:69)

May Allah Ta'ala include them all in the scope of this ayat, forgive them, shower them with His Mercy, grant them hisaaban yaseera, elevate their ranks and enter them into Jannat ul Firdaus, Aameen.
