Iran says it launched an attack on United States forces at Al Udeid Air Base. Loud explosions, flares over Qatar’s capital, Doha.

Advance notice that means key assets would have been moved and air defence heightened.

The Americans moved their forces and equipment weeks ago before attacking Iran,.. advance notice was to empty the base of any civilian personell or security.
So infact Iranians attacked an empty base read here.
x.com/SanaSaeed/status/1937204421466755434

It was just a symbolic response and co-ordinated with the Qataris.
(1) Qatar is an ally of Iran, and several years ago both the Saudis and U.A.E. organised a failed boycott of Qatar for having relations with Iran.
(2) It benefits the Qataris there has been relentless propaganda by the Zionist lobby and media in America that Qatar is the main funder of Hamas because of Qatars role in mediation. To the extent that any media personalities and politicians critical of Israel have been falsely accused as Qatar funded, Mehdi Hassan, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson has been nicknamed "Qatarlson.
This pours cold water and shows to the western public Qatar is in fact an ally of America has American bases.

If the Iranians wanted to do a genuine retaliatory attack they would have gone for the bases in hostile countries U.A.E. , Jordan, Saudi etc.

All these "wars" are starting to look more like theater than actual conflict.

To a large extent it is theater. In 1980 Ted Turner an American millionaire business man and media moghul, created the worlds first 24 hour news channel CNN. He was roundly mocked by many saying a 24 hour news channel would never succeed. It was only moderately successful.

Until 10 years later when the first Gulf War happened with Iraq, that was the first live streamed war and was televised 24/7 by CNN, showing bombs spectacularly falling on Iraq and majority of major cities in flames. The war was sold on CNN as a great spectacle of Americas might and power. Or as Hamza Yusuf put it in one of his talks,
Sold to the public as "Watch our smart bombs, kill dumb Muslims". The war helped CNN become a major news power house, and it's name became known globally. And from that point on War became theater.

Now in the Social Media age, each actor is reading from a particular script, designed to put on a performance for their own intended fan base or thwart the accusations of their critics, with a haze of propaganda.

For the Iranians the theater is to both simultaneously present themselves as a nation of people that descends from the Persian Empire, and is also as their chief media personality put it "The land of Imam Hussain (RA)" a nation that refuses to surrender and bow to tyranny. Whilst also looking for an exit route from a war it cannot win.

For Netanyahu it is to present his nation as a perpetual victim, that is constantly having to fight for its survival, to the bitter end. Whilst realising that he has bitten of more then he can chew and with allies reluctant to stay the course, and he is looking for a face saving way out of this war so he can claim victory. Knowing a prolonged conflict will be disastrous for Israel.

For Trump who fought and won the election as the President who never started any new wars, he has to satisfy two different fan bases one small base who are fiercely pro-Israel, and the second larger base who are fiercely about putting the interests of "America first", after seeing the backlash and realising that immediate regime change would most likely require American troops on the ground and last years, and result in an insurgency and the bodies of dead American Soldiers in their hundreds filmed being flown home in coffins for burial could destroy his presidency would result in another unwinnable war. He quickly started singing the tune of "Peace".

To recap, israel was got what it wanted the Shia arch destroyed , air command all way to Tehran and now Afghanistan and knocking on Pakistan doors.

Iran lost out big time but it has 400kg of enriched uranium hidden away, however they are infested with agents, that needs cleaning.

Way forward fir iran is a military pact with china and Russia n rearm but can't see that happening anytime soon.

Iran and Israel are striking ceasefire deals, and Gaza isn’t even on the table. But the moment it’s pointed out that Iran isn’t fighting for Gaza, people choose to take offense.

Iran was fighting for self preservation.
On the flip side Netanyahu and America failed to achieve regime change and what Trump called an "Unconditional Surrender".

It's not clear that the "ceasefire" will hold. But if the war between Iran and Israel ends today, it would be a massive lost opportunity for Iran, but also not a win for Israel.

Iran has taken significant damage from both Israel and the US.

1) Their known nuclear facilities have been either damaged or destroyed.

2) Many top generals in the IRGC were assassinated.

3) Their missile launch capabilities were severely degraded.

4) Massive Mossad infiltration has not been solved.

5) Air defenses have been rendered useless, leaving major regions defensless from massive bombing runs, including Tehran.

6) US faced zero military or economic consequence for its strike against Iran, not to mention its continued military support of the Zionist regime.

Yes, Iran has inflicted damage on Israel, but was it enough to deter Israel in any meaningful way?

1) Israel is still genociding the Palestinians in Gaza through mass starvation.

2) Israel still is determined to topple the Iranian government, as signaled by the massive bombing campaign against government targets yesterday before the "ceasefire."

Nonetheless, Israel has taken severe reputational and psychological damage.

1) Israel has lost its image of invincibility. In no prior war has Israel taken direct wide-scale damage to its military and civilian infrastructure. Despite having the most advanced air defense systems American money can buy, Israel took significant hits to the Kirya, Mossad centers, military research institutes, central stock exchange, chemical and power plants, etc.

2) Israelis are fleeing at record numbers. The situation is so bad that the Zionist regime is blocking exit from the country. In deciding to move to Israel and invest in the country, people will now factor in the possibility of ballistic missiles killing them and destroying their investments. This is a fear Israelis have not felt before.

3) American support for Israel has plummeted and there was no appetite to support Israel against Iran in this war. Throughout, Trump's involvement seemed reluctant, and he declared the end to the war immediately after entering it. Short of another 9/11, Israel knows it will have even more difficulty getting US support in future offensive strikes.

4) It is unclear how much damage has been done to Iran's nuclear program. Even according to the most generous estimates, Iran was able to protect its main stockpiles and perhaps the centrifuges in Fordow survived the US strike, not to mention the secret facilities they undoubtedly have. Now Iran and the populace will be determined to acquire nukes as they've seen how "following the rules" and making diplomatic concessions only result in getting bombed.

4) Strategically, Israel's primary goal was to decapitate Iran's revolutionary guard and trigger popular uprising to topple the government. But this was a complete failure, as the Iranian public rallied behind the central government and the Supreme Leader. Continued bombings inside Iran's major cities would only increase this popular support. This was a red-pill moment that will make moderate Iranians become hardliners.

Ultimately, Israel failed and there is no clear path to their main objective of toppling Iran's government. They have also lost the element of surprise now and Iran has made progress in shutting down the Mossad network operating in the country.

The bottom line is, Israel is not going to stop targeting Iran even if they temporarily cease attacks. Iran's best defense is offense, via continued targeting of Israel's cities in a war of attrition, that could cause Israel irreversible damage and get Israel to stop its genocide of Palestinians.

If Iran stops now, they give up the slight advantage they have gained over Israel and they become more susceptible to a renewed surprise attack that Israel will have the opportunity to plan.

Ultimately, this war was about which side had more tolerance for pain. Iran flinching now could be a fatal mistake they will dearly pay for later.

Meanwhile, the Palestinians remain in dire straits
