Salam alaikum

Alhamdulillah, I’m looking for a Shaykh, preferably from the Chishti tarīqa, either for bayah or islāhi ta’luq. The Shaykh should have ijaza in the 4 salasil and be some what accessible via email or written letter. Jazakumullah khayr for any assistance in this matter.

But if you wish to follow the Chishti Silsila then you should work on communication skills and be absolutely clear as per the instructions of Hazrat (Maulana) Ashraf Ali Thanwi (RA). This Silsila is about Muamullat and your Muamullat need to be clear cut, open and transparent.

You need to clearly specify the information which you are after.

Hazrat Mawlana Shaykh Hasan Hafejee of South Africa. Hazrat spent his childhood and youth in the company of our Shaykh Hazrat Mawlana Ibrahim Mia Rahimahullah,(Khalifa of Hazrat Shaykh Zakariya), Rahimahullah and was his chosen Khadim. Upon the demise of our Shaykh he took bayah to Hazrat Shaykh Haji Nakhooda Saheb, Hafizahullah and is his Khalifa. Hazrat is a graduate of Daruk Ulum Zakariyya, South Africa

Hazrat has a thriving khanqah in Cape Town, South Africa and a Darul Uloom and many maktabs. Hazrat has a yearly Ramadan Ietikaf program and and Islahi Ijtima at which senior Ulama speak.

I have never seen anyone so spiritually gifted as Hazrat and with such an exalted nisbat with Allah Ta’ala. Many times when he speaks you would hear things not found in any book. Shaykh Hasan is a unique Shaykh with wonderful exalted states and in my opinion one of the rare Awliya of our times. He has majalis twice a week which are recorded and many can be found here:
