I know one guy who got married at 13 and became a father at 14.

The others where mainly 14 or 15.
It was not just muslims. Some Sikhs and Hindus also got marriage. Before 16.

Even in their traditions sex outside marriage was considered a sin. And marriage to protect themselves from this was considered praiseworthy.

And the first High school I went to was majority white non muslim students. The many of the students there were very active sexually at a young age and promiscuos with no concept of sin or marriage.

Well on young marriage here from Bangladesh:
It In the period 2005 to 2013, according to UNICEF, 29 percent of girls in Bangladesh married before the age of 15 and a document had some girls married as young as 11.

Marrying off girls as young as 10 has become a cultural norm, despite child marriage being illegal

and two my issue is this. Marrying someone the same age is one thing the issue is older men marrying young girls such as say a 11-13 year old marrying a 45 year old.

Sure in rural areas in many countries in Africa and Asia. Amongst both Muslims and non-Muslims this happens.

The girl wants financial security and husband who can provide for them.

Getting married to older men who are financially stable is quite common in both. East and West.

Rupert Murdoch the biggest media mogul on the planet. Owner Fox News, Sky News, New York post, Wall Street Journal the Times Of England. And many more media outlets across the globe.
And chief critic of Islam was married to a woman in 1999 who was 38 years younger than him.

The arguments from this person makes it seem like this is not a guy rather a woman.

And that's considered an issue.
Also there is a difference between a man marrying an adult woman who is younger and marrying a child who is 9-11? Do you really not see the difference?
A 9-11 year old is too young to understand intercourse
And further you mentioned a home country of bangladesh which I cited was the case?
Also how many cases occur but are not reported in developed countries is another issue to consider as well

I believe you will find that this is majority of the case.

I don't think anyone here will marry someone below the age of 16 either. But this is an international site, other cultures probably would marry 14,15,+ year old girls.

Once you marry a woman who is 20+, someone who fulfils all your requirements as a wife, will you:
A) have a 2nd (3rd or 4th) wife at the same time?
B) divorce your first wife regardless of 2nd marriage (or divorce for the sake of it)
C) have an extra martial affair?
D) consider a gay relationship?
E) remain single?

Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

It is important to note that the Islamic teachings regarding marriage and sexual relations are based on the principles of consent, responsibility, and mutual respect. The marriage contract in Islam is a legally binding agreement between two consenting adults who have the right to accept or decline the marriage proposal. The consummation of the marriage is also subject to the mutual consent of both parties.

Regarding the verse 33:49, it is important to understand that it refers to a situation where a marriage contract is solemnized, but the couple has not had the opportunity to consummate the marriage. In this situation, the woman is not required to observe the waiting period (iddah) because there has been no physical relationship between the husband and wife.

As for the verse 65:4, the phrase "and [also for] those who have not menstruated" refers to women who have not yet started menstruating, such as prepubescent girls. The waiting period for such women is three months to determine if they are pregnant in case their husband has passed away or if the marriage has been dissolved. The purpose of this waiting period is to establish paternity and ensure that the woman is not pregnant before she enters into another marriage.

The interpretation that this verse permits sexual relations with prepubescent girls is not supported by the Qur'an or the Sunnah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explicitly stated that the marriage contract cannot be fulfilled until the woman reaches the age of puberty and is physically and emotionally ready for marriage. In addition, there are numerous hadiths that emphasize the importance of obtaining the consent of the woman and ensuring that she is ready for marriage.

True but my worry is those fatwas allowing 45 to marry 12 or 13 to marry 16 and a sheikh saying a man wanting to marry 9 is legitimate

1) It's permissible.
2) Your opinion is irrelevant and holds no value.
3) If you want to marry a 20+ then you go ahead.
4) Age is not a defining factor. It varies from place to place.
5) Once again, your opinion doesn't matter.

It is pointless to engage this person anymore. If they are a man, then living amongst the kuffar has taken them far from actual fitrah. If they are a woman, it makes sense why this would bother them.
