Asalam o Alaikum,

Yesterday when I was eating my lunch, i got a phone call from unknown person who claims to be from pak army hq and was asking me my personal details. When I replied that I will verify myself as well as you in the police station, he hung the phone. I read about this fraud group in whatsapp post some days ago. So be careful.

Update

After some time, a friend of mine had just messaged me and confirmed that yes, this is a fraud group and his friend in his hometown lost his pension because of this group.

Update

At maghrib prayer, another friend of mine told that his friend lost 2 lac ruppees because of being trapped by this fraud group.

Update

Some days before, my father also got a call from the same group from a different number. My father shouted and insulted him and forwarded that number to his friend in ISI.

The ISPR has clearly and loudly warned that Army is not conducting any such survey and that people should not divulge their personal information to anyone on phone.

You did the right thing Sir,

It simply shows how corrupt Pakistani society has become over the last three decades, and that it is not the job of any democratic leader,no matter how well meaning and honest he is,to clean the system.Democracy means compromises, susceptibility to political blackmails,accommodations...and becoming part of the club, otherwise soon people gang up against the honest to protect their interests.

Pakistan needs a just and honest DICTATOR to put some fear of God in the hearts of those bent upon mischief...

Corruption is so widespread from top to the very bottom of the society that it requires at least a Mujaddad to handle it (The prophet is out of question as no new prophet is coming).

It brings us back to the same old question : Shall one try to do Eslah of the society first and then attempt at getting the administrative authority OR shall one try to be in power first and then bring the change..?

There can be good arguments for both, but to be in power means to be REALLY in power with all the authority centred in one person, who is just, honest and “all in control” ,not a democratically elected leader. A leader who is pious but not fully in control can easily prove to be the most helpless slave of a Batil system.

As I have written before. There are two kinds of people in every society. The creative minority which is active, intelligent and cares more than it's own interests and selfish inactive silent majority which is of mediocre intelligence.

Whenever there will be a revolution, whether it is Islamic or un islamic, only a small percentage of people in a nation will sacrifice themselves for change. Whether it is the minority of Makkah and Madina in the Arab Peninsula or French, Chinese, Russian, Iranian revolution. The masses don't give their lives for change except a small percentage of courageous men and women.

Islah as an individual effort or on a community level can't go beyond a certain level because the majority always see the elite and leaders as their inspiration. This is the point where I differ with TJ and Khanqahis that they believe that their effort is sufficient to change the situation of this ummah. I however, believe that this is just a start and means to an end rather than being an end itself.

In his book "Tarikh e Dawat o Azeemat", Shaykh Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi Rh writes that King Mirwan of Banu Ummayah was fond of buildings. In his time period when Muslims used to gather , they would talk about buildings. Then after his death his brother Suleman became the king. He was fond of women and food. In his time people used to talk about women and food. However, when Sayyidina Umar bin Abdul Aziz Rh came to power, the very same people used to talk about memorizing the Quran, punctuality in tahajudd and nafal prayers, tasbeehat, dhikr, ilm of deen etc.

So the ruler and the elite have a very deep and everlasting affect on the masses. Only minority can resist evil when it is common in a society.

We can see that those Prophets of Allah who didn't get ruler ship were not mostly followed by the majority. However, prophets like Sayyidina Dawood, Suleman, Yusuf and Rasulullah (May Peace and Blessings be Upon them All) were followed by the majority. They were not just Messengers of Allah but also rulers of the land.

So, it is the creative minority which will bring the revolution under a pious and correct leader. However that minority should pass four stages of essential training in order to properly be able to implement and live up for the ideals they yearn to impose on others.

1. Dawah
2. Ilm
3. Tazkiyah
4. Jihad

Through dawah they will become a jamaat. Before that they were scattered. Then a leader united them through dawah, they realized the truth , accepted it and gathered around a true hero.

After that the leader needs to educate that jamaat about the deen which he and his team are propagating towards. You need to know what you are calling others to and how to practice it. For it, you need proper ilm and deep understanding about at least the fundamentals and basics. So everyone in that jamaat will not be a mufti or faqih but everyone will know very well the compulsory essentials.

After that they need to settle this ilm in the depths of their souls. For that to happen they need to get purified enough so that they remain determined and clear while facing hardships in bringing and implementing the revolution.

After that they need to practically be able to combat and fight the enemies (beneficiaries of the current evil system) of the revolution who will definitely bring obstacles in the path.

So Eslah of the whole society can only be done by the state but eslah of the jamaat who is going to capture and run that state is done through masjid, madrassah, khanqah and battlefield. All the institutions of deen help in the purification of soul where dawah is the beginning and jihad is the highest and hardest institution doing the highest and fullest form of purification provided that it is done with right knowledge and methodology and correct intentions.
