Everything should be confined to the Deen of Allah and not just science.  Philosophy, logic, critical thinking, expression and every single thing which the human mind can comprehend should be confined to the limits placed by the Deen of Allah.

It’s obvious and common sense.

Islam is not against any advancement of science to benefit humanity subject to the limits of the Deen of Allah.

Power and Sovereignty belongs to Allah Ta’ala. The magicians came with all their combined might and power and they failed in front of miracle of Allah Ta’ala granted to Musa (AS). The might of science and technology of Dajjal will fail in front of Allah Ta’ala.

The tricks of magicians did impress some of the people but it didn’t impress/affect the people of Eemaan.

The science and technology of Dajjal will impress some of the people but it will not impress/affect the people of Eemaan.

All of this is obvious and common sense.

My only problem with you is that you mainly rely on Christian right-wing nutjobs and so do the Ulama whom you quote BECAUSE you all have no idea about the background of the people and you don’t have any technical expertise to discern otherwise.
The Trump supporters also peddle these conspiracy theories from the same source and so do you, its ignorance of the highest level.

I am from a Trump supporting state so it’s on our Radio/TV all the time.

You know nothing about HAARP, you have picked it from Christian right-wing nutjobs and so do the Ulama whom you quote. You all have looked at HAARP and said, “Hmm…This is interesting and first into our narrative”.

You all have looked at books from 1960s/1970s/1980s about Bermuda Triangle and said, “Hmm…This is interesting and first into our narrative about Dajjal…Then you have found some Ulama in the past who may or may not have said things about Bermuda Triangle and that has given more credence to your views…Again you have no first-hand knowledge, information or expertise of any kind on Bermuda Triangle either.”

You have googled and learned that artificial rain be done and rain can be stopped (it is not a Hoax) and you have looked at Hadeeth and concluded “Dajjal will do that…” and that is probably correct but the technology is from the 1960s and old.
It’s the conspiracy filled mind of Donald Trump supporters which keeps giving you these theories and you watch strange YouTube videos and you match it to your (imaginative view of Dajjal), some Muslims cross the line and even say that the Earth is flat.

Your starting point is scepticism of science and believing that science is inherently evil. This is the view of many (Pakistani and South African people) whether you admit it or not so when an advancement comes along your mind races to how fits into your narrative of Dajjal.

Science is a tool and can be used by Muslims or Dajjal, it is just a tool but it’s your mind-set which takes you to these places due to your imagination with Dajjal.

Same with people with symbol obsession, they can see anything PEPSI and they will match it to one-eye or Dajjal or Israel etc...

Your only problem is that you keep on bashing others even if they have changed their stance and corrected themselves. You have the same problem I have. You are too passionate enough to read posts correctly. I read those books of Mufti sahab and was confident that if he has written it then it's correct. However, I was wrong and I admitted it. Just re read my previous post. Drink water before responding to other people's post.

With Due Respect Shaykh! We don't need nuclear weapons. Shaykh Muadh Khan is enough. (Pardon me if you are offended.)

I never claimed to be a scientist. Math and science have been my weakest subjects. So just chill. Sir, I have changed my stance. I officially denounce, reject and regret on posting those stupid, irrational, unscientific conspiracy theories without backing of substantial evidence. I think it's very clear and I would not need to translate this post in urdu.

I think our young brother wanted this thread to go in the right direction so afetr days of discussion...

Lets change directions

What are some of the things mentioned in Ahadeeth which Dajjal will show and which science enables us to do today (or can do in the future) and what is the scientific explaination?

For example, making it rain and stopping it from Raining? How does it happen?

Interesting discussion,very educative indeed !

Apart from the rain issue, how will he make the dead alive (and then not being able to do it again) ? What is meant by him having Fire and Garden ( his garden being fire in reality and fire being garden),and so on...

It may not be ALL science after all,he may have some supernatural powers...

Allah knows best,a prophet of the stature of Syedena Eisa علیہ السلام will be required to kill him,and he will start melting by only seeing him or receiving his breath before being killed.

May be we are missing something by attributing everything about Dajjal ONLY to science.

It is only a question,I am not taking any position on the issue...

good point. maybe there will be some supernatural elements at play.

we are forgetting one factor though. he wont just be supported by insaan, he will also be supported by iblees and jinns, who as we all know operate at the supernatural end of the spectrum. in fact there are some people that claim jinns also have a hand in technology. i think the 'late' moulana taliban advocated this. i have seen some youtube videos that make this claim as well. (disclaimer: i am not advocating this, but interested in exploring this possibility).

Dajjal will have the support of dark spiritual and dark material forces , both on the highest level. While explaining the hadith of death and life, the ulema I studied wrote that jinns having the ability to shape shift will come in the form of those who died.

While explaining the hadith of paradise and hell, the ulema I studied wrote that developed countries are like paradise to Muslims but protecting one's emaan there, is more difficult compared to under developed majority Muslim countries. And further more even in underdeveloped countries larger cities have more fitna compared to smaller cities, and smaller cities compared to suburbs and villages and so on.

Prophet Esa AS being a highly spiritual and miraculous being will be the perfect person to compete with Dajjal. His whole body is a miracle. His birth is a miracle. His speech in his mother's lap to defend her is a miracle. He cured the blind and sick and raised the dead with the help and order of Allah. His life of piety despite of being a bachelor is a miracle. His ascendance to the heaven alive is a miracle. So his miraclous being is the perfect candidate to confront and defeat the evil and dark Dajjal.

So this will be the confrontation of spiritual against material forces. Of Haq against Batil. Of goodness against evilness. Of faith in Allah's treasures against faith in material and shaitani resources.

Jesus AS will be a spiritual being and his soldiers will be the highest wali mujahid of that time. They will be the ones whose ishq rules their aql. They are not limited to intellect and don't see and judge reality with their human eyes. They are the ones who believe 100% on wahi and who see the reality with their inner eye. They will not be philosophers or scientists. They will be ushaaq and abdaals. They will have the access to the technology of the heart. The world will call them crazy and foolish. People will ridicule them that they are fools to fight a world government. The "wise" ones will call them stupid and will taunt them for not bowing down and benefiting from the false god and instead of taking the route of suicide. There will be many who will preach them of hikmah and wisdom, diplomacy and cleverness. Some will also call them idealists and fantasy lovers. Delusional and crazy.

But those pious and brave soldiers of Allah will listen to no one except Quran and Sunnah and their great and pious leader.

Dajjal on the other hand will be a mean materialistic dictator with dark forces at his back. He will use his silver tongue, deceitful media, music, money, food and women and his supernatural "manufactured" abilities to fool the people. Like Pharaoh, Nimrod and Xerxes, he will use everything within his means to deceive and deviate people from eman and Islam.

May Allah protect us all from this great fitna. Ameen.

Wa-alayk-as-salam:

According to Mufti Tariq Masood (db), the supernatural ability of the jinn and shayateen (magic) is very weak in its effect in this alam-e-asbaab (the materialistic world). (This is alluded to in the ayat of the Quran which says that the machinations of the shayateen are very weak.)

According to Mufti Sahab, the cause effect relationship is strongest in the asbaab-e-yaqeeni (the definite means), such as water for thirst, food for hunger, trade or labor for livelihood. These are the asbaab (means) that are wajib (compulsory) for us. If a Muslim denies the effects of these means and suffers hardship such as death, he will be sinful.

Medication has the level of sunnah (recommended) and not wajib (compulsory) because the cause effect relationship is not as strong as that of asbaab-e-yaqeeni (the definite means). This is why the same medicine may cure one, but cause more illness in another. One would not be sinful if they did not use medication as a means of cure.

The weakest cause effect relationship is with the supernatural, sihr, evil eye, mischief of jinn. If magic was powerful, all practitioners of true magic would rule the world today. However, what we see is that those with the most material means have the most power in today's world (at least in the zaahir, apparent). Mufti Sahab (db) gave two specific examples to explain two different points.

He stated that magic will not have a very potent effect on the strong willed and people of strong emaan. He said the hikmah behind the effect of magic on Nabi (alayhis salam) was to prove wrong the allegation of the nonbelievers who said that, nauzubillah, Nabi (alayhis salam) was a sorcerer and magician. He also said the effect of magic is very weak because there are no reports of the khulafa e rashideen being affected by magic, even though they had numerous enemies among the different subjugated peoples who had knowledge of magic.

The other example was, if the magicians were so strong, then they would have attacked Pharoah in self defense with magic when he declared that he would punish them for obeying Musa (alayhis salam), but this did not happen, and they did not challenge the material might of Pharoah with their magic.

We are beings with material bodies, and this is why we will be most affected by material means. While working on our emaan and amaal, we should direct our energies towards material means, because, was this not the sunnah of Nabi (alayhis salam)?

Isa (alayhis salam) cured the leper, the blind, the sick and also brought the dead back to life by the Will of Allah (subhanahu wa taala). Did these happen through material means or by direct intervention of the Command of Allah (subhanahu wa taala)?

This post has been reported. It could be due to breaking rules or something as simple as bad use of bbcodes which breaks the page format. We will attend to this soon.

This idea is interesting. I have been trying to find some concrete evidence for this some time ago. However, apart from a vague video mentioning an incident about Ibn e Taymia Rh and his communication with a jinn through a tablet pc like object (I know it sounds weird), I can't find any real evidence for this.

However, in the times of Prophet Suleman AS , the jinns used to create buildings for which you need some sort of technology. Also a Jinn offered his services to bring the throne of Bilqees. So here is an indication that Jinns do have affect on physical matter. Jinns also have intelligence and free will and they are older inhabitants of earth compared to us.

It is a possibility that they get sick and they need doctors to cure their diseases. This idea is interesting and needs more investigation. However, it would be nearly impossible to find a solid irrefutable proof even if the case is true. Mainstream experts will never be able to agree to this idea as it is related with cults. And an ex member of such a satanic cult will be killed if he tells the truth and even if he survives no one will believe him. He will be called a nutjob or a fantasy lover.

There are many mysteries which we don't know about. The problem is that a secret isn't a secret if it is exposed. And those who want to dominate the world are not foolish enough to allow their "real" secrets get exposed. Even if they are exposed, there is no way to prove them. So they become hoaxes. Hoaxes can be true and can be false.

Salaam,

The closest thing we will get to evidence that many aspects of technology are actually from jinn is a book written in the early 20th century.

I've been debating whether to mention this book or not, as I would prefer people to keep away from it, as I'm sure many may fall for its traps.

But after the discussion in this thread I guess you guys atleast deserve to know about it if you have not already come across it.

Now, this book comes up in ratings of something like one of the top 50 or top 100 books ever written in the western world. Many influential people have read it and highly recommend it and claim it has impacted their lives. Fom presidents to scientists to movie stars, so it's obviously no hoax.

The interviews with the scientists in the book pretty much give the game away to anyone who has some understanding about jinn.

I came across the book quite by accident a few years ago. Had no idea what was in it, it was just one of these top rated self help books. Started getting suspicious half way through the book, and by the later chapters I knew I was reading about getting in touch with the jinn.

Online pdfs can easily be found, but before you read it, please read your quls and ayatul qursi, please be careful and do NOT take a lot of the ideas and advice in it.

Of course this doesn't mean tech is bad or evil. It depends how it's used. But this book is the closest proof that much tech is indeed from jinn.

Anyway just look at the later chapter titles and you'll get it straight away this is a dodgy book. At the time I just innocently thought it was a self help book.

Once again, please be very careful reading this book. Read your Quls and Ayatul Qursi first. "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

Just look at how the book starts in the first few sentences. Most of what I've written here is from memory from about 3 or 4 years ago so I might no be totally accurate with everything.
