salaam

i dont think we can ever be sure about what kind of technology they may have. but one thing we can be sure of is that they will weaponise anything that they can weaponise. if they can weaponise the weather then we would be very naive to think that they wouldnt. if they could weaponise vaccines then they would. if they could weaponise viruses then they would. if they could weaponise tectonic plates then they would. we think of weapons as something that causes immediate injury, injury leading to death, or immediate death. but this may not necessarily be the case in the future. imagine a weapon that is already built into an environment, an infrastructure or even within your body itself, which can be deployed at any given moment. that would be the ultimate weapon. you cannot escape it. i am not saying that they have such weaponry and i am not saying that they have such technology. but if i was a power crazy godless devil worshipper, and i had the means, the money, the technology and the science to create such weaponry then it would be absolutely foolhardy for me not to.

without getting into the pro vaccine/ anti vaccine debate, i believe that in australia if you dont vaccinate your kids then you are no longer entitled to welfare benefits.

there is a lot of talk going on about universal basic income, which many people feel will be needed as more and more industries are being automated and people are losing their jobs due to the take over of automation and artificial intelligence. i have no doubt that if we do move onto a universal basic income system then that system will also be abused and used to control and manipulate the masses. they already use other technology to control and manipulate the masses so there is no doubt in my mind that they would do the same with universal basic income.

A car can be used as a transport or as weapon (unfortunatelyand regrettably). A knife can be used to cut open an orange OR to kill someone.

Any technology or advancement can be used for good or bad.Qur’aan and its verses can be used for good or for stupidity and to advance corrupt, baseless ideas.

But there is a difference between genuine fear and STUPIDITY!

There is a reason why Allah Ta’ala has given us a brain todiscern and differentiate between “HOAX” and “FACTS”.

Shaykh Imran Hosein claims that Dajjal is chained up in Britain. You were (probably) born and raised in Britain know this country and hundredsof people, know the language and culture of this country, do you think Dajjal(is physically) locked in Britain, chained up?

I grew up in Miami, few hundred nautical miles from BermudaTriangle, I was just there 3 weeks ago, and there are over 5 flights daily, cruise ships etc. You can buy a ticket, sail or fly through Bermuda Triangle(over it, under it, through it and every which way you want). Do you think thatsomeone who lives in Karachi is going to tell me something about a locationwhich is in my backyard?

Viruses can be used for spreading diseases and for warfare, it’scalled biological warfare and it’s real and not a conspiracy. I have actuallystudied microbiology and viruses have tell tale signs i.e. when you areinfected through a biological agent there are clear signs the way it was spreadand the way people get infected and it can be traced! It doesn’t disappearwithout a trace, investigation can be done.

To say that just because biological warfare is possible, vaccines are being used for population control is STUPID! Vaccines are notneeded, you can easily inject viruses into the water supply and cause damage topeople without the need for vaccinations.

Let me repeat this! There is no need to vaccinate children inPakistan to cause damage as you can easily do it without the charade ofactually injecting children and the additional costs etc.

You can kill and damage humans very easily withoutvaccination.

Making it rain or stopping it from raining is old technologyfrom the 1970s and we studied in our university in 1980s (when it wasexperimental). Today it is in use around the world but again when you seedclouds or disperse clouds it has tell tale signs which can be detected.

Applying all of it to HAARP is also plain stupid and it isfrom someone who doesn’t understand the technology. Hurricane IRMA was notcaused by HAARP but because people in Pakistan and South Africa listen torighting, Christian extremist, nutjobs like Alex Jones they believe thiswithout knowing anything about the technology and how it works.

This is a Bayan from Peer Zulfiqar Naqshabndi (HA) aboutgenetic Engineering:

https://www.muftisays.com/forums/27-sharing-portal/6810-genetic-engineering-shaykh-zulfiqar-ahmed-naqshbandi-ha.html

It is a superb talk which I have said and it is a good subject.

Where he has definitely FAILED is that he thinks that genesrelated to believing in God can be altered and we will have populations of Godless children it is a STUPID assertion from someone who doesn’t know aboutgene mapping! There is NO GENE which can do that.

This is a very interesting thread, but isn't most of this just theoretical?

We respect and value Mufti Abu Lubaba (db) and Maulana Asim Umar (db) as scholars of deen. However, they are, I believe, the only two prominent individuals who have written about such matters, so everything they've said remains a minority opinion.

In light doses, such alarmist writings do tend to jolt us from our slumber. But once awakened, where should we focus our energies?

I don't know why my post isn't showing correctly. So I am re-posting here.

1. Anything is theoretical until it happens. So wait until it happens.

2. Minority opinion is not necessarily a wrong opinion. Many prophets have been followed by minorities.

3. The main point is to focus our energies for preparation even if these events are not going to happen in our life time, we will get our reward.

4. Sahaba RA didn't seize to fear and prepare just because they were 1400 years before today's age.

5. Anything can be labelled as a hoax as anything can be labelled as a fact. There are no scientist ulema so what I can say about reliability.

6. Unfortunately, the majority only wakes up when the thing happens but then it's too late.

I have tried to do my part to the best of my ability. Now the ball is in the court of those who are listening. Take it or reject it. Your choice. I can't force anyone to agree with me as I can't allow others to force their opinions upon me. I think it's fair enough.

Stupidity Personified!

Reminds of a story in Pakistan.

I went to Pakistan a few years ago. My Khala (aunty) got severally ill and had to go to the Hospital and there was nobody to drive. I had the car so I decided to take her and her husband to the Hospital and the Doctor.

We got there and waited about an hour and then went to see the Doctor. The “Doctor Saheb” wasn’t in and it was a different doctor but he saw her and went through some basic checks. During the examination, he explained that his friend was on Holiday and he had decided to step in to help out.

I asked for his qualifications and he replied, “I am a Plastic Surgeon”. In any other country of the world this would have been a joke! He prescribed Antacids for a clear allergic reaction. I went to get the prescription filled, threw away the prescription and bought Antihistamines and within an hour my Khala was fine, making Duas for the Doctor and saying “Allah has put such Shifa in his hands”.

This is the level of literacy in Pakistan where Plastic Surgeons are practising general medicine.

The issue isn’t minority/majority opinion but a technically competent opinion. Deobandees are fond of telling people that matters pertaining to Deen should be referred to Ulama as they are the experts on Shariah but then what makes Ulama experts on Physics? Shouldn’t we leave the matter to scientists?

My reservation with conspiracies is that we have people with no expertise in a field raising hoaxes about subjects which they have no qualification to even understand.

Recently spoke to a Mufti in India (on WhatsApp), he had no clue about issues of chemistry which he had touched in his (wrong Fatwa). In the end he couldn’t answer so he said, “Well Deen has differences of opinions so its ok” to which I said, “It isn’t a matter of Deen, it’s a principle of chemistry which you got wrong! With my mind racing, I remembered the Mufti Taqi Usmani (HA) had also given a Fatwa on the issue so I quoted that and he finally accepted his error! To this day, he has yet to publicly acknowledge his error or change his mind.

I have Brothers who didn’t finish school arguing about genetic engineering because of something they read or heard on the Internet, it is absurd. They are arguing with consultant surgeons in the Masjid and then telling them, “No, you don’t understand the science behind it”…It’s crazy

One Taxi driver even told a Doctor, “May be you should go back to Medical school and learn properly”.

Someone who is an Ex-drug dealer (and been to prison) arguing with one of the leading experts on vaccination in UK (who is a Muslim) and quoting Dr Khatme (who is not a medical doctor)

There are Ulama who are writing about vaccines and the writing is riddled with fundamental errors and the laymen are running with these ridiculous theories.

  1. Vaccinations are not perfect
  2. Vaccination are not the (full) answer
  3. Vaccinations have side-effects

But surely, you should speak to someone who actually understand the science behind it and then make up your mind.

One of my relatives is the world’s leading scientist in cellular research, her writings and speeches are all over the Internet and she has known me since I was a young student. I recently had a discussion with her to understand her field and research. She is a Muslim and she told me what works, what doesn’t work, what cannot work and why. She decided to go to Pakistan (to serve the country) where she was born in for a series of lectures and told me the level of maturity and comprehension.A Tableeghi (Phd in Molecular biology) in Lahore decided to engage her in a debate about Fiqh on the stage. She basically refused to engage and said, “Son, you can do whatever you want, this question isn’t about my topic”.

She is not the only one in the world, there are others who may differ so at least learn from the experts which is not your field instead of sprouting conspiracy theories.

There are two practising Doctors on this forum! At least listen to someone who knows what they are talking about, that is my point.

P.S: I am not trying to disrespect someone but if you don't have the background or knowledge of a field, you should refer to experts.

So this means that the world is gone so complicated and there is so much distance between deeni and worldly uloom that it is better to leave it all together. Just focus on Salah and dhikr and be silent.

Everything can be a hoax but Quran and Sunnah can't be a hoax. So remain content with Quran and Sunnah. You can't know everything and you can't trust everyone. Muslims are far behind in science and ulema don't know the world. So what else is left?

Quran and Sunnah.

This deen was not only for scientists but for all types of humans and jinns. So to remain sane, remain content with Quran and Sunnah. Nothing more, nothing less.

Actually Sir,you may be right in your approach :

The mafhoom of a Hadeeth mentioned in Muslim and Ibne maja :

* Dajjal will invite some to believe in him which they will,so he will ask the skies to pour rain on them and ask the earth to grow food, such people will have plenty...

* He will invite another group to believe in him, they will refuse,so rain will not fall and they will suffer from drought..

Is this not control over weather ? Granted that we don’t know the exact mechanism of it (will He be using some scientific tools for that or some other abilities beyond our understanding?) “Some” Uluma is of the opinion that Dajjal will merely be using certain ‘tools’, which ‘may’ be translated today as science.

* He will have جبل خيز “mountains of bread” and will have plenty of water which he will give to his followers and deny it to those who don’t follow him.

Is it not control over resources ?

So,it does not hurt to be somewhat ‘over cautious’ in case of Dajjal and his phenomenon. After all even the prophet صَل الله عليه و سلم has taught us this dua :

و اعوذ بك من فتنة المسيح الدجال

We are informed about it that :” Every Nabi has cautioned about Dajjal,I too caution you about him,Even Noah....عليه السلام,Had cautioned about it....” (Bukhari)..and that,

“From the creation of Adam A.S till qiyama no fitna is bigger than Dajjal” (Muslim)

Technology to cause rain and to stop rain already exists, its basically seeding of clouds and the inverse of it. Its technology!

For a Surgeon, its easy to drain your blood filter it and put it back, for laymen its "technology"

The issue in this thread is STUPIDITY of conspiracy theories based on insuficient or total lack of knowledge and parading the Christian (rightwing, Islamophobic, ignorant) Media and simply parading it without understanding it.

Yes there is a difference between various fields of knowledge. A teacher of Saheeh Bukhari has studied and then taught for years to get to where he is AND so has someone who is a scientist in cellular biology.

There is a difference between a Mufti and a Civil Engineer.

These are fields of knowledge and merely googling about the fall of Twin Towers and expressing conspiracy theories does not make one a civil Engineer!

Its not rocket science to understand!

The knowledge of Deen IS and WILL ALWAYS be superior but it does not mean that a Mufti understands how to tune the engine of a Car, a mechanic does because he has learned it.

All fields need to be studied and learned.

We have too many Google experts and thats why we have too Cowboys expressing opinions which are frankly STUPID!

I think saying Eid Mubarak is not stupidity so Eid Mubarak to you all. To hell with technology. No matter what means that fool adopts, I am and will remain the staunch enemy of Dajjal and Iblees. Mullah Umar rh was not a scientist but still defeated them. Soul is superior to body, Tazkiyah is superior to science and Islam is superior to all the ways of life.

Eid Mubarak.

As I said that you have some serious issues! Who has claimed the science is superior to Islam, Eeemaan, Tazkiyah etc? Who said scientists are superior to any Ulama? What are smoking???

That is exactly the problem with you! You don’t read or understand what is being said at all.
