I hope everyone is doing fine, in sha Allah.
Yesterday i was listening to a lecture on Youtube that talked about Al-khaliq and creation. The speaker said "Allah سبحانه وتعالى is Al-Khaliq which does not means he created the universe and became known as Al-Khaliq. It means He is constantly creating...."
Isn't the statement "he is constantly creating" similar to saying infinite regress is possible in the past or there is no first creation. If you say there were infinitely many worlds before this one, then you are saying that the creation of infinitely many worlds was completed before this world, and that contradicts the meaning of infinity, which is that it cannot be completed. Also the statement implies, Allah is compelled to create and has no choice but to create otherwise He would be imperfect?
Is this statement "Al-Khaliq means He is constantly Creating" in line with the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah?
Isn't this the belief of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah that " Allah is Al-khaliq irrespective of whether there is a creation or not?
13. He has always existed together with His attributes since before creation. Bringing creation into existence did not add anything to His attributes that was not already there. As He was, together with His attributes, in pre-eternity, so He will remain throughout endless time.
14. It was not only after the act of creation that He could be described as "the Creator" nor was it only by the act of origination that He could he described as "the Originator."
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
