indonesia is going to cane two men for performing gay sex and they say punishment is according to shariah. i thought the prescribed punishment for them was death? or is it up to the khalifah/leader/PM etc how they want to punish them. is it true Ali رضي الله عنه burnt them, if so did he do so out his own choice or because of a hadith
