Rough English Summary:

There are many good books and publications on the stature and status of Sahaba (RA) but the Fitnah (of insulting the Sahaba (RA)) is coming from Social Media particularly Facebook and YouTube. Sunnah practising Muslims are asking questions about Sayyiduna Muwaiiya (RA) due to being influenced by Social media and nobody has the time to read books these days.

So I request those who have the knowledge and ability to communicate to focus on the Social Media front, I say the ability to communicate because it is necessary for others to understand you properly.

The era of (reading) books and publications is old fashioned now.

Yes. They openly cursed Sayyiduna Muawiya RA and Abu Sufiyan RA on the 10th of Muharram in Karachi.

This is a regular occurrence from what I witnessed.

I cannot comment on the Deobandi's but from what I saw, the Barelwi take part in all sorts of activities with the Shia. They join their marches, they buy toy swords for their kids and they all think Ashura is about the martyrdom. Of course my experience is based on what I saw whilst in Malir, especially where the Shia reside in Ja'far Tiyar. Hope I'm wrong.

I wish the Barelwi get educated in this instead of bad mouthing those who rally against the Shia.

This time they did it openly in the streets of Karachi and it was aired by a Pakistani news channel. If it’s become a common occurrence then that's our fault.

Some Barelvis do that but there are others who protested alongside Deobandis and ahle hadith against the Shia.

I don't know about Lashkar e Jhangvi but Sipah Sahaba also took part in protests.

Lashkar e Jhangvi is a banned outfit, last I remember. No way it's gonna emerge again during the rule of this openly anti-Islam establishment.

Does anyone see the pattern here? Under this government all kinds of anti-Islam elements have gotten bolder and bolder. First, it's the Qadiyanis trying to sneak in a favorable law every few months or so and now the Shia have realized that there will be no retribution however much they insult the Sahaba رضي الله عنه. Then there's the constant anti-Islam agenda of the feminists. This establishment is doing everything to make a Pakistan an anti-riyasat-e-Madina.

You have the right to be concerned. I think this is Parvaiz Musharraf 2.0 with all Modernists and Secularists running around and coming out and creating a problem in the name of "freedom of expression".

At some point, there will be clash of civilisations in Pakistan, vast majority of Pakistanees are conservatives!

So sooner or later this will come to a head and specially when Taliban 2.0 arrive in Kabul.

On the honour and stature of Sahaba-e-Karam (RA), no compromise at all!

Not quite sure. Lashkar e Jhangvi was like the military wing of the Sipah e Sahaba so that's why it was banned.

Wikipedia says: On 26 June 2018, before that year’s election, the Government of Pakistan lifted the ban on Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan.

And it is now renamed as ASWJ.

I'm pretty sure lashkar split from sipah quite some time ago if my memory serves me well. About 20 - 25 years ago lashkar was no longer with sipah.
