well in my life time they got a leader who isnt OPENLY a corrupt, scum, poodle. iv never been a fan of pak despite being from there and never thought it will change. but now i have hope. atm whether he brings islam or not i dnt care as long as people are being fed clothed and not treated like animals is a big victory. shariah and islam can come later and slowly when people are ready. we need to seperate shariah n islamic leader and a good leader/statesman.

Muttahida Majlis-e-Aml Pakistan (MMAP) came fourth with 13 seats, Thirteen independent candidates have also won and would play important roles as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) needs their support to form the governmentat the Centre.

Karachi-based Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP), which ruled the city for decades, managed to get six seats as well.

What was the disagreement? Sounded more like advice. (Urdu isn't my first, second, third or fourth language so apologies in advance if I have misunderstood)

He will take oath as PM on 11th August. They're still approaching individual candidates to accomplish the required number of seats.

An undated video clip of former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf has emerged asking a small group of Americans to bring him back to power through covert means so that the US is protected from “terrorism and radical Islam”.

Jinnah the Barrister

“And this is now what Mr Gandhi said on the 20th of March, 1940. He says: ‘To me, Hindus, Muslims, Parsis, Harijans, are all alike. I cannot be frivolous’—but I think he is frivolous—‘I cannot be frivolous when I talk of Quaid-i-Azam Jinnah. He is my brother.’ The only difference is this that brother Gandhi has three votes and I have only one vote.”
[M.A. Jinnah, In a 1940 speech in Lahore]

*****
It is very difficult to argue with the lawyers.

They are the ones who call the shots when it comes to arguments.

In the Freedom Movement of India the leading guys were all lawyers. Including the mighty Mahatma.

Then you had the democratic process. Democracy for minorities is like Damocles Sword hanging on their head.

Jinnah knew it.

As did most of the Muslims participating in the Freedom Movement.

And when it came to devise an answer to the Mahatma's schemes only Jinnah could use the precise words to convey the purport.

Imran Khan to the Nation (Pakistan) : First speech

First he talked about the interest on the debt and the trap.

Now he is talking about health care issues.

A politician has to talk about the issues without sounding parochial, regressive and having a closed mind. these are the pressures of the modern life and modern environment.

Then he talked about politicians overspending on their self while in office.

He talks about education of the children.

Rasoolallah SAW as a role model.

To of our Khalifa's in the box of the court!

Zakat : More money I have more is my social responsibility.
(Scandinavian countries do similar things today.)

Hazrat Umar RA : Even if a dog dies of hunger in my reign then it is my responsibility.

Muslims values merit - think of Khalid Bin Waleed's (RA) example. He nearly defeated Muslims but soon he was made the leader of an expedition.

The west has been implementing many of the Islamic ideas.
Think of the people in power today. How do they become rich so fast after coming to power - they come to power for that.

See how much west spends on child education. The west has implemented the Madinah State in their lives today.

This country was created to function on the principles of Madinah State.

I have been hearing all life that I can not be cricketer, fast bowler, captain, hospital, no third party in two party state and so on. I shall show how to do the things.

(I love this man.)

Excessive bullet proof vehicles to be auctioned. Governor houses expenditure to be controlled.

Pakistani money from foreign countries to be brought back - high power task force to be set up.

Foreign remittance 2o arab dollar (can not convert at the moment....).

Pakistanis in foreign jails.

Direct talk to overseas Pakistanis. We need lots of dollars due to import-export dis-balance. Help us.

Corruption. Full attention to this problem - a corrupt country can not progress.

People of power destroy institutions for you can not be corrupt otherwise.

Whistle blowers will get 20 to 25 % of the recovery in case of corruption.

FIA money laundering to be dealt with.

When corrupt people are disturbed they will react badly - whole country got to be ready to deal with that.

To meat the judiciary to speed up disposal of cases so as to make justice reach the common people.

Heart rending story of a widow fighting for her rights.

Very tough steps to be taken against child abuse.

Till government schools are improved our education problem can not be solved.

Health care.

Water. Tanker Mafia in Karachi. Water problem in Quetta, Islamabad,....

Civil Services....

Municipal system.....

Sports... disappearing play grounds....

Tree plantations and forestation....heat wave in Karachi...

Pollution.....cleanliness is half of the faith....cleaning of rivers....

Tourism....four new resorts every year to be opened.....beautiful beaches....

FATA....to be combined with KP....

Baluchistan....

South Punjab.....

Karachi again...financial capital...transport...police....

Peace....

Better relationship with neighbouring countries....

Street children...widows....handicapped....

It was a man to man talk...He talked in simple, easy to understand language about the problems the country faces and the possible solutions. No leader has ever been so straight forward and open about the issues to Pakistani people. It is an uphill task, may Allah swt give him strength and help him. Amin

MashaAllah the way Khan Sahab is working is incredible. He has proved my fears wrong. He is the first leader in Pakistan who is not playing the politics of ta'assub and is actually working to fulfill his election promises. May Allah assist him and protect him from evil eye.
