We can only guess at the purpose behind it all. But there are some things that are certain.

1. These symbols, hand signals, secret societies etc definitely exist.

2. Those that are involved in them are usually those who are in positions of power and influence, I.e royalty/leaders/politicians, mega rich, entertainers, sports personalities, movie industry etc.

3. They spend time and money to run these secret societies and to propagate these symbolisms and hand signs etc.

4. Their influence has permeated into grass roots society.

If you agree with the above then the next step to understand it is to investigate and understand the type of people who are involved and who propagate these things. By understanding them we can then come to a general understanding about their motives and intentions.

Are these people on fitrah or are they trying to make the world turn away from fitrah? Do they believe in Allah or do they turn people away from Allah? Do they promote peace in the world or do they promote perpetual war and destruction? Do they try to maintain a balance between the rich and the poverty stricken or do they hoard wealth? Do they serve mankind or do they hold onto power and expect mankind to serve them?

To me the answers are obvious and mocking us right in our face. The evidence is enough to make us at least take notice and question all of this.
