when will muslims start calling murtards what they are? look at this shaytan Sadiq Khan who is trying to be the new mayor of lon. Iv always said the guy is a murtad who would even curse the prophet (saw)

if it meant winning votors yet still so many muslim and even more disguting ulemah think he is a good muslim and will do good for islam

i warn you this guy will go out his way to harm muslims and islam. if he is elected ( most likely unfortunately) he wont want to be seen as favouring muslims so will go extreme lengths to attack them so he can impress non muslims

he has already made wild remarks and made dodge claims this is a new low. sad thing is muslims are so pathetic when it comes to voting no one even cares about them. 99.9% just vote labour regardless. they can insult the prophet but we muslims will still be labour labour labour. he knows he can make these kind of remarks because muslims are too stupid to do anything and still vote him. no wonder were in this rot we find ourselves.

so if anyone is in london and looking to vote then vote greens. yes they wont win but think long term. let the main 2 parties know they cant take us for granted and we are aware of what they do and say. maybe then they will take more heed and stop their islamaphobic policies

It's obvious she seems to be the one wearing the trousers in the house, quite literally. The other days in the paper, he was quoted as saying "My daughters can wear what they want" So what if they wanted to wear the Niqab lol, that would be a slap in the face

its not that what annoys me its when scholars ( i got messages from famous ones) who say vote him. i dont care who this offends but what planet do these scholars live in? voting khan is bad as having maajid nawaz as a mayor. just like in most muslim counteries where the leaders are anything but muslim its the same with this clown. he supported gay marraige, he says he puts politics before islam, he attacks the only decent mp i ever known ( corbyn) calling him anti semite because he supports palestinians, he is against BDS, he is a member of friends of israel yet scholars and silly muslims say vote him because he is muslim. i mean am i missing something? we all watch same tv same radio same papers. every mosque in the country should to a khutbah exposing this rat.

We are less than three months away from London’s Mayoral election to be held on 5th May 2016 and it should come as no surprise that the front runner, Labour’s Sadiq Khan, is being targeted by the right-wing press.

Earlier today, the London Evening Standard, published an article ostensibly about Sadiq Khan headlined “Exposed: Sadiq Khan’s family links to extremist organisation”. What it actually exposed was the Evening Standard’s determination to smear Sadiq in much the same way it systematically campaigned a few years back against Ken Livingstone to make way for the right-leaning Boris Johnson.

Today’s story focuses on Sadiq’s former brother-in-law, Makbool Javaid (he was previously married to Sadiq’s sister, Farhat), who like Sadiq is also a lawyer by training. The Evening Standard tries to highlight Makbool Javaid as a hate-spewing extremist and hopes that at least some of the dirt that it throws will conveniently land on Sadiq Khan.

As it happens I have met Makbool on several occasions and there is no question that back in the 1990’s he was known to be sympathetic to the views of al-Muhajiroun (Omar Bakri’s band of loony Khilafah-seeking activists). It is also true that by the time I met him again a decade later he had already very clearly begun to moderate his views.

It is only much lower down the Evening Standard article that they actually get round to quoting Makbool Javaid’s current and far more sensible views where he says:

“Of course I regret the speech I gave and some of the things I said and did in my younger years.

“Twenty years ago I was naive. I certainly didn’t realise how easily some of my actions could be interpreted as being critical of Britain — the best country in the world.

“This was nearly two decades ago now and I have grown and changed. I love Britain, I love the rich diversity of London and I love our culture.”

That sounds very much like the Makbool Javaid that I last met a few years ago.

The story of Sadiq Khan should be an immensely inspirational one. The son of a London bus driver, he lived in a council flat in South London and indeed was sleeping in a bunk bed until he was 24. He went to university and trained as a lawyer and became a human rights campaigner. And then in 2005 he was elected as the MP for Tooting, his hometown. Now, just over ten years later, he has a very good chance of becoming Mayor of the UK’s most influential city. It is a fabulous story that serves to highlight the very best of Britain. The opportunity, the hard work, the anti-discrimination and the ever reducing number of glass ceilings. It is a narrative that deserves to be trumpeted loudly, especially to younger Muslims, to help encourage them and to counter the skewed negative propaganda of nihilist outfits like ISIS.

The London Evening Standard did all Londoners a massive disservice today.

Here is how Malcolm X described Mr Sadiq Khan over 50 years ago.Malcolm speaking in Selma Alabama in February 1965 had this to say.

It's sad to see the pathetic self-serving statements of those like Sadiq Khan, as he runs for the London Mayor position.
If there's one thing you should know, it's that the worst person to represent Muslims is usually the Muslim candidate himself. Sadiq Khan is a perfect example. This doesn't mean Goldsmith is a better candidate, it means we're stuffed every way we look at it.
To fearmonger using Muslim women and their dress choice is the most cowardly of all approaches. What it says about his own faith is even worse. What it says about his consistency as a "human rights" lawyer who is "super committed to anti-semitism" but thinks islamophobia doesn't deserve the same footing, is worst of all.
At a deeper level, I noticed a parallel between Sadiq and the Quilliam Foundation's resident scholar Usama Hasan. Usama also told me before he completely lost his mind and faith, that the hijab etc didn't fit with what Pakistanis had been wearing in the last 50 years, that a "dupatta around the shoulders was sufficient" and there was "no need for new ideas".
That is where all these folks end up. For some, their test comes through being on TV, for others being in the public eye and for others entering politics. If you can't handle it Sadiq, you should never have got involved in this game in the first place.
May Allah jalla wa 'ala keep us firm upon His Deen. Ameen.
