Dutch Muslims find out about Porn Addict:

The convicted criminal known as "Mufti Abu Layth al Maliki 'comes on April 17 to Rotterdam. The 'Mufti' by Youth Commission Ettauhid Association (JCVE) invited to preach at the 'I Am Muslim' conference.

Mufti Abu Layth al-Maliki (Nahiem Ajmal), the fashionable preacher of Pakistani origin is known for his lectures and his efforts against extremist Muslims in UK. Besides his activities as a minister he has been exposed in different ways in recent years with the law.

Ajmal was sentenced in February 2015 to six months in prison. ie had 'Mufti' (Islamic legal scholar) asked a police officer by SMS if he is prepared to circumvent the rules for him. The gangster-Imam wanted to elicit information about a woman on the run from her husband. The police officer, a friend of Ajmal, was also condemned himself for his important role in running a brothel and a drug network in London.

A year earlier Ajmal appeared before the court because he was accused of possessing extreme pornographic images. He was employed as a teacher at an Islamic school in Birmingham which was the center of the Trojan Horse scandal. in the British media a number of members of Islamic schools was accused of a plot to promote extremism among schoolchildren . Mufti Abu Layth Islam was a teacher at the Parkview School , where he was suspended because he spell work on the conduct was part of the infamous anti - extremism policy of the British government.

Abu Layth is also criticized in the Muslim community of Britain for his involvement in Quilliam Foundation. The organization is funded was founded by former members of Hizb ut-Tahrir by the British government to combat extremism among Muslims. In addition to government support they receive funding from the right-wing conservative American Tea Party and atheist Sam Harris and Islamophobic. In recent years, Quilliam Foundation often criticized by prominent figures within the Muslim community for their role in the freedom restrictive government policies against the Muslims.

The editors of Hollandistan.nl approached JCVE to ask about the participation of Abu Layth in the conference. We have not received a response back and removed our message on the facebook page of JCVE by administrators.

Activist Reza Nadim of Muslim Public Affairs Committeee has asked critical questions last year about Mufti Abu Layth al Maliki...

His mate who was running a brothel and driving a ferrari to work whilst on a 25-30k a year job has to be amongst the most stupidest criminals in history. Who turns up to work in a ferrari whilst earning 25-30k as a police officer. They only linked abu layth to the crime that he served a prison sentence in when investigating his friend the dodgy cop driving in ferrari.

I've heard of bent cops and scholars for dollars, but scholars for brothels? lol, they even have sympathizers and supporting scholars.

What is this world coming to?

Mind you, should it be brothels for scholars, or scholars for brothels?

MALM, that cracked me up... anyone who shops at Ikea will know that MALM is a series of designs for furniture.

MALM was in the news recently for causing deaths of babies by accident. Couldn't Haris think of a better name.

Their are Scholars for Dollars and their are Scholars who have been caught doing illegal activity and are offered a deal by the security services work for us or be publicly exposed and prosecuted ....! The FBI has been running such a programme for years one Imam was allegedly turned into an informant by the FBI after their surveillance showed him consistently soliciting prostitutes.

No doubt the British government has been doing the same...! Expect to see alot of Dodgy Scholars emerging in the future and suddenly offering strange modernist opinions praising and supporting Zionists and Islamaphobes.

In a declining economy and in the era of funding cuts, the only segment which is awash with Money is “De-Radicalisation”. If you wish to do an “Islamic Program”, police, your local council and others will bite your hand off and you will be showered with money.

Police has no funding but ask for your Mosque to have CCTV fitted and your (Cash strapped) local council will pay in excess of £10,000 to have your entire Mosque fitted with state of the art CCTV equipment.

This is the time to mint for “Anti-Terrorists”, “De-Radicalisation” experts and Mufti Abu Layth has an early start on the meat wagon and probably a front seat.

If you are an Imam (or a Scholar) with no other marketable skills, your days of any decent employment outside of Madrasah/Maktab (which were always limited) are now seriously down to ZERO.

None of our Ulama and Muslims (alike) get what is coming their way. Our Ulama STILL CONTINUE to raise individual issues like Darul-Bury Tier 4 licence being revoked (Make Dua, Darul-uloom is in danger) INSTEAD of taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture.

The ONLY viable option for Muslims who love the Sunnah is to bury the hatchet and COME TOGETHER and stand united on issues which are confronting us and come up with a strategy to counter it.

These individuals mentioned in this thread are mocking us, they know that (Deobandees) are too Pathetic to do anything substantial so they laugh, they giggle and they mock.

  1. Khatm-e-Nabuwwat is being targeted
  2. Darul-uloom Leicester is being targeted
  3. Muslim dominated areas such as Blackburn, Dewsbury are being targeted
  4. Darul-uloom Bury is being targeted

And YET we continue to fight these SINGLE BATTLES by sending (badly worded) WhatsApp messages, requesting Duas and no coordinated strategy to counter anything.

The starting point is dead simple, three simple steps:

  • Ulama are NOT LEGAL EXPERTS, so seek help from experts...
  • Bury the Hatchet between Deobandee groups and Ulama; laymen simply follow what the leaders do.
  • Getting to look at issues Nationally. Create a National strategy but implement from grass-roots (locally).

Won't happen!

In that case the first place to start would be to change the title of the thread... it gives the impression that peoples objection to this Abu Layth character is due to some sectarian reason. This is not about Abu Layths hatred of Deobandis rather Abu Layths deviant behaviour and opinions. Despite not having much of a following even in his hometown he has managed to get a profile by using Piggy Back Marketing, that is Piggy Backing of the names of well known Celebrity Scholars and speakers in America and constantly re-tweeting their posts establishing connections with them etc.

This issue is no longer about Ulemah taking a stance it is a collective issue, for the entire Muslim community.

In my humble opinion this consistent railing and critique of what others are doing not doing in the cause of Islam. Is counter productive and waste of energy probably emotionally draining and leads to burnout and feelings of despondency.

We have no control over the behaviour and actions of others..Perhaps It is time for all of us to look at whatever little skills and assets we have and assess how we can contribute whether those skills are writing, speaking, volunteering, charity work. Supporting those institutions that are working hard doing something beneficial.

The fact is the Europeans have been waging a war for centuries in order to obliterate Islam... Every endeavour has failed from the crusades to colonialism, to supporting puppet regimes and dictators. So now they have decided that the best way to destroy Islam is to change it from within and come up with a new westernised model that can be promoted across the world. The Likes of Abu layth , Maajid Nawaz are simple tools in that mission to make orthodox and traditional Islamic teachings seem obsolete to the eyes of the coming generations and promote the idea.. "We need to modernise and update our mode of thinking and practicing religion instead of being struck in the dark ages" This is the mantra that this Abu Layth is consistently chanting on Social Media and he is striking a cord with the university educated Jahils .

This mission of the west and promoted by their foot soldiers like Abu Layth can be summed up by the following quote of Buckminster Fuller.

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

― R. Buckminster Fuller

That coming from Abu Salih :o

Oh yes! I see the disclaimer in red now :)

Just pulling your leg. But it makes a good topic in itself. Maybe that post can be split out and started fresh.

This Abu Layth character seems to be making his connections in America. I would again request the following.

Changing the title is down to the OP, otherwise a fresh new thread would be the way forward and kept separate.

Okay
So London786 over to you...! Its just came across the following Podcast out of Chicago with various speakers talking against various fitnahs, from Perenialism to modernism and feminism. and then strangely an episode featuring Abu Layth themadmamluks.com/library/

I think the Americans might not be fully aware of his views and have the impression that he is disliked because of his opinions being contrary to ultra orthodox position of Deobandis. Any American googling his name might come across the title of this thread and think that is indeed the case.
