We will all miss our Beloved Shaykh and Ameer Sahib Hafiz Patel Sahib. Inshallah he will have heard " Return to your Rabb well Pleased, Enter into my Servants, Enter into My Jannah!!

His favour will remain on each and everyone of us, Made efforts in the 60's when there was no Masaajid like we see today

Truly a Mujaddid and a person to ring the spirit of Islaam alive again !

He would often say make effort for Deen and Allah will raise you up in the Saff's of the Sahaabah RA. and thousands and thousands went in the path of Allah due to his efforts, thousands and thousands were inspired to perform Salaah punctually, to attend the Masjid, to do Taleem. And thousands sent their children to become Huffaaz and Ulema. This is all in this account.

May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaws
--------------------------------------
إنّا لله و انّا اليه راجعون.
I still vividly remember the many occasions while I was studying in Dewsbury when Hazrat Hafiz Patel Sahib رحمه الله would call the foreign students to his room, he would give us naseehah, encourage us to take part in the noble work of 'dawah' and when he would finish his naseehah and words of wisdom to us he would then say,
"As you have made sacrifices and left your home, your family and your parents to come and study the knowledge of Deen and as you have no parents here this is a small gift from me to you, Hazrat Hafiz Sahib رحمه الله would then gave us Halwa or any other sweets that was present at that time".

The love, kindness and generosity of Hazrat Hafiz Patel Sahib رحمه الله to us was a great lesson for us.

May Allah grant Hazrat Hafiz Patel Sahib رحمه الله the highest stages in Jannatul Firdous

Totally blown away by the death of Hafiz Patel Saheb, if you guys knew the efforts he made just so that the deen could reach our families. He is one of those people who would stay up all night crying in dua for the Ummah. He would walk from dewsbury to bradford every day, give Dawah, get spat at just so that we could have the comfort of practicing the deen easily today... He loved youth and said the future of the Deen relies on them.. I still remember when he kissed me on my forehead and gave me his kind words and advice. He emphasised the blessed night of Thursday and Allah took his soul on this night too! May Allah elevate his rank in the next life, forgive his sins and accept all his noble efforts. Ameen.

May Allah swt change his lapses into good deeds, forgive him and grant him a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus.
May Allah swt give Sabr-e-Jameel to his near and dear ones.
May Allah swt provide us his worthy substitute.

Verily we are for our Lord and unto Him is our return.

Being land locked in India I personally never got an opportunity to meet Hafiz Patel Sahab (RA).
The deluge of Whatsapp and Facebook messages in the morning today was the clue for me that we have lost some one significant.
Yet even in time of this monumental loss only Shukr emanates from my heart for Allah swt.
All thanks are due to Allah swt that he gave us so many shining pearls that we have shed so many of them in last few years.
Only a spiritually rich community can do that.
I have complete faith in the Being of Allah swt that this is not a case of He snatching away our Ulama from us.
The worth of people like the recently departed soul resides in the fact that they, though irreplacable themselves, have produced a generation that have many more pearls in its chest than the last one. these remaining pearls will, by the Grace of Allah swt, shine further and make this Ummah as glorious as is befitting for the Millat of Rasoolallah saw.

In spite of these times being the most trying ones I remain in a state of utmost thankfulness for Allah swt has given us all these gems that we have and the gems that we are shedding.

Words of advice delivered by Shaykh Mawlana Muhammad Saleem Dhorat at the Islamic Da'wah Academy in regards to the passing of the Ameer of Da'wah and Tableegh; Hazrat Hafiz Patel Sahib.

When pious people pass away, we should be grieved upon the loss for the Ummah. We should turn to Allah SWT and earnestly ask Allah to replace the personality with somebody better or somebody equal; because when important people pass away; especially in this day and age, they are irreplaceable and a very big loss comes to the Ummah.

So, we need to turn to Allah SWT and ask Allah SWT to safeguard and grant more acceptance to the effort of Da'wah and Tableegh, and may Allah SWT grant a very good replacement for Hafiz Sahib rahimahullah ta'aala and may Allah SWT safeguard and maintain the ages of all our akaabir and mashaayikh, and all the pious personalities.

May Allah SWT elevate the status of our Hafiz Sahib rahimahullah ta'aala and may Allah reward him on behalf of the whole Ummah and may his legacy remain in this world until the day of Qiyaamah and may Allah SWT grant us all the tawfeeq to follow in the footsteps of all the pious personalities and may He resurrect us amongst them on the day of Qiyaamah and may He grant us a place in Jannah with such luminaries and pious mashaayikh.

So, make isaal-e-thawaab for him; of whatever you are able to and as much as you can; especially in the next 24 hours. Also make dua; make dua for Hafiz Sahib, dua for his family, dua for the work of Da'wah and Tableegh, and for the whole Ummah.

Tribute to Hafiz Sahib

Such a sad moment, such a sad day,

A legend of Islam has passed away.

His Zikr, His Fikr, His crying at night,

His sparkling face, shining so bright.

His continuous striving in Allah’s way,

Throughout the decades, until his last day.

The reward of Europe, he takes in his grave,

As the people flocked, wave after wave.

Masajid, Madaris, Ulamah and more,

As the Sunnah entered, from door to door.

We Muslims are orphaned by his demise,

The nights are deprived of weeping eyes.

As the Ummah prepares to fill this hole,

The Angels take pride in carrying his soul

On this blessed night, though Hafiz Sahib has gone,

In the shape of the work, his legacy lives on.

Oh Hafiz Sahib, we owe you a debt, impossible to pay

Till our last breath we continue to pray

Our leader, our teacher, our Ameer in deen

Oh Allah, place him in Jannah-Ameen

Hafiz Mohammad Ahmad Patel rahimahullah of Dewsbury was a great sign on that even with simple words you can change the world.

Dawah is simple. You could feel the love, joy, fear and peace while sitting and listening to him.

It came from his heart.

He meant what he used to utter.

He would repeat the stories and phrases in nearly every bayaan, but you couldn't get bored.

Never missed tahajjud in his last atleast 50 years.

His khuddam (who with their own free will for islaah stayed with him for several days/years/occasions) were indeed witness for his good deeds and karamaat (miraculous events)

No matter what bad you did, he would explain like a mother and father.

Indeed he is and will be my spiritual father.

Plz remember him in your duaas.

Hadrat Shaykh Hāfiz Muhammad Ahmad Patel رحمهم الله تعالى .

Hadhrat Shaykh was an amazing personality.. So much acceptance.. And so clearly beloved to Allah SWT. A great loss to the Ummah.. But undoubtedly, he is in a much better place..

There is so much to learn from his blessed life..

This world has sucked us in and we have become blind to our inevitable future, the aakhirah.. And we are making our children blind to.. "Seek the world.." Aakhirah "That's where success lies.."

It's at times like this we can really begin to see and understand where true success lies.. Tomorrow when the Imam Saheb stands by the blessed body of Hafiz Saheb RA, standing behind him will be thousands and thousands.. So so many of whom Hafiz Saheb RA personally will have made a difference to their deeni state, connected them with Allah SWT and guided them to the light.. This is success..

To do the khidmah of deen.. To serve the creation of Allah SWT.. To spread the words of Allah SWT and our most beloved Nabi ﷺ

Let's take a moment to pray that Allah SWT changes us so that we too may be able to give our lives in the path of Allah.. That He accepts our children for the work of deen.. And that He fills Hafiz Saheb RA grave and the graves of all our deceased with Noor and Rehmat... Aameen

That soul has deparated to meet his beloved, who had toiled day and night for years.
The heavens will be embracing him as we speak, the earth crying, forever now deprived of his sujood and zikr.. a radiant face..full of love.. a mercy for us all..never for a moment was he away from Allah SWT.
We salute you Oh Shaykh..for you who taught us how to live and how to die..
May Allah SWT grant marhoom the highest rank..
May your soul now live with the elite.. for that is where your soul belongs.
Ameen.. Abu Ibraheem

Assalamualeikum brothers. With tears in my eyes I write this, in remembrance of Hafiz Patel Saheb Ra - his demise is a great and saddening loss to the ummat.
Allah granted this weak one the opportunity to sit in his company numerous times. The one thing about him that left upon me the most lasting impression, something that I can still vividly picture even after many years, is his fikr for deen - the worry and concern he had for this ummat. Every word he would utter would be literally soaked in fikr and concern. Such a high level of fikr is difficult to find in the world today.
His way of speaking, the gestures of his hands while speaking, Allahu akbar, everything about him would be loudly and clearly showing his extreme sadness and worry for the ummat.
A few hours after his demise, an aalim from South Africa saw him in a dream smiling, his face shining, and he was already relaxing in jannat. (He hasn't even been buried yet)
May Allah grant us that same fikr for deen which is so missing in us. It is this fikr which is needed in Kenya.

I had the pleasure of being in the company of Hafiz Patel during Hajj in 1995 (although very briefly)

It was a great experiance walking down from the Jamaraat back to the Mina with Hafiz saab. A friend and I were one of the first to bring out the water spray bottles and sprayed the Hujjaj with bursts of water, refreshing the Haaji's in the extreme heat. It was great to see Hafiz saab enjoying the coolness reaching his face and watching him and the others laugh. It was something new for everyone I guess.

When I went to see him personally for the first time, we spoke briefly and I asked him to remember me in his Dua's. Then he stopped me and asked me what Dua he should make for me. I didn't know what to say - I wasn't even twenty years old then - so I didn't really know what to say and just smiled and said just make Dua for me.

Hafiz Saab said to me, next time someone asks you what Dua to make for you, tell them to ask Allah to keep me on the Deen with Istiqaamat and that I die with Deen. Then he explained what he meant by istiqaamat. He wanted me to understand that I should be on the Deen with consistency and serve the Deen till my last breath. SubhanAllah, a very brief meeting, but his words have stayed with me even after 20 years and he has surely shown his intent as Allah has kept that Dua for him also.

It's unfortunate that I didn't really have the pleasure to see him more often, or even be in his company for longer. So the little memory I have of him, I will always remember it and always teach the same Dua to other people I meet as well as making this Dua for others too.

Jamaat at-Tableegh may have lost its UK Ameer last night but the world has truly lost an Auliyah (friend) of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Possibly the greatest spiritual leader of UK in the past 50 years - with the amount of people's lives he has impacted and the scholars produced therefrom that would not be an exaggeration.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى grant Hafiz Patel Saab the loftiest of places he always talked about in his talks.

Ameen.

"Indeed we are from Allah and to him we shall return"

Note: Janazah (Burial Prayer) will take place today at 4pm in Dewsbury.
