It has been abt four months that I have been in contact with a shaikh back in Pakistan, and this shaikh has attained multiple khilafat some of the key silsila go back from hzt lahori رحمة الله عليه via hzt ml ubaidullah anwar رحمة الله عليه and hzt ghulam rasool رحمة الله عليه, hzt zakariya رحمة الله عليه via hzt sufi iqbal madani رحمة الله عليه, and also other khilafat which goes back from naqshband line...I can not remember clear as they are not common.
The experience has been good, wherein I have dreamed of shaikh multiple times such as in cases where I kissed his hand, another where I came into his khanqa and asked for his duas etc etc also had other good dreams such as vision of rasoolal Allah
...
Being that I have not done any specifiz zikr of any silsila apart from small wazaif for my specific personal reasons.
Another thing to keep in mind, most of the shaikh's own shaikh are also alive but they are old...
Is it advisable to do bayyat with him after experiencing all this span of few months time?
Because there are other great mashaikh as well such as raipuris, even including his own shaikhs who I can visit and do Islah?
I have also seen the criteria of what a true peer should be like, such as observing sunnah, purdah etc etc
it is a matter of few days time I will be going to visit Pakistan, and I am really unsure if I should take bayyat in his hand, I am also doing istikhara...
What will be feasible advice in this situation?
